My brother met Mr Mystic at some World Series Thingie they are having on the left coast.
Here is a Numbers Trick from Mr Mystic that works everytime, kids love it!
PREPARATION:
Have pencil and envelope ready. In front of an audience, secretly write down the number 1089 on a piece of paper and seal it in an envelope.
THE TRICK:
1. Ask a volunteer to write down a number containing three different digits. (example: 378).
2. Next, tell the volunteer to reverse this number and subtract the smaller from the larger.
3. Now ask the volunteer to reverse the total from step 2 and add the numbers together. This number will add up to 1089.
Have your volunteer read the prediction. It's an odd fact that the number will always be 1,089, regardless of what three digit number was used.
