We're going in december this year - what will the weather be like? Is it normally jeans & jumper kind of weather, does it rain lots? The weather in the uk cant make up its mind at the moment, the mornings & evenings are cold then theres some sunshine during the day with lots of rain

Joanne, to be safe pack a little of everything.......some years it has been T-shirt and shorts 80 + degrees (during the day) and turning a bit chilly in the evenings needing a sweatshirt, some people wore light gloves, hat , scarves, and a light jacket.
One year it dropped down in the 40s brrrrrr for Fantismic......when they lit the fire on the lagoon the crowd cheered!
On the whole the weather is fantastic!! and coming from the UK the Florida cold may not feel cold to you. Just a bit chilly.
Pack some ponchos just in case....... Dec is Florida's dry season.

The weather here in December is pretty cool. It's definately not as hot as it is during the summer. It rains here mostly in the Summer than any other season. So I think you have a great chance of a great vacation

Aren't weddings just magical all on their own. I didn't even think of a Disney wedding, but I'm totally jealous!! Your hair and makeup look beautiful! I wish you had some more wedding pics!!!! LOL maybe it's just be but sometimes I think about just getting back in my dress with my head piece and veil and just pretending for a little while.

I've got a driving lesson this morning and then I'm going to spend most of the day stalking the dis and doing lots of planning, so I'll definately be able to update my trip report too

Hiya It does sound like we are very alike!! I'm truly a kid at heart, you wouldnt think by the way I behave that i'm 30 next year, but shhhh dont tell anyone I love it when we go america and they still ask to see my id before serving alcohol - makes me feel young again

My driving lesson went well, did a mock test and I passed There are still things that I need to learn but i'm getting better My instructor has told me to try and do my theory test as soon as possible so that I can try and book my proper practical test for October I'm so excited at the thought of being able to drive - it will be like getting a new life! I think its the fact that i'll be able to go shopping whenever and wherever I want

I'm gonna make myself a cup of tea and then get down to some updating on here and some december planning

I havent seen the 2nd movie yet - glad you thought it was good, the first one was so funny!! Hope you are having sweet dreams xxx

DAY 4

This was a day full of shopping! We shopped and shopped and shopped all our way up and down I-drive I dont have too many photos, but will post the few I do have

Hmph! And they say girls like to shop! Guess who started shopping first!

Then we hit a shop that has now become one of my MUST DO's in Orlando - Pet Smart!! You need to know that I looooove our furbaby lots n lots, and love to spoil him. So when I walked in Pet Smart, I was in heaven - the same happens when I walk in to any disney shop too - so you have been warned.

Here I am deciding what halloween toy he 'needs'

and this is what he actually ended up with

Last stop on the i-drive shopping trip was Walmart, the place where I can get lost for hours How sad am I then I fell in love all over again, guess what with .... trust me .... you will never guess ..... a toilet brush I go all the way to Orlando and what do I buy, a toilet brush But it was just too cute to resist

We ended our shopping day with a lovely meal at TGI Fridays before heading back to the room to start packing, we're moving to the Wilderness tomorrow

I have to sample the cocktails, you know me!!

Den was driving so he sampled the potato skins instead

DAY 5

We were up early, packed and ready to check out. We waved our goodbyes to the hard rock and hit the road for disney

Woohoo!! We're here!!

We checked-in and our room wasnt ready, no suprise there as it was only 11am So unfortunately for my Dennis I decided the best thing to do would be hit the gift shop mwahaha We emerged about an hour later with lots of bags and less dollars than we started with - RESULT!! Our room still wasnt ready so we went to Roaring Forks and had a drink and shared a bag of chips We then went and sat in the lobby and decided to pass the time by taking some photos, which we were rubbish at because we both had new cameras that we hadnt got the hang of yet!!

Thanks I'll be doing a mock/practice test every week to get me ready for the 'proper' one - hopefully i'll be able to book it for October but I have to pass my theory one first. Not sure if you guys over there have the same system as us? We have our lessons and then if the instructor thinks we are ready we then have to do a Theory Test, then a Hazard Perception Test and then the actual Practical Driving Test Do you have something called Drivers Ed? Or is that just in the movies

Awww look at those cute hats I love those. I would have had those but my and my husband wanted the mickey bride and groom hats. And look how happy you guys are being in Disney. Soooo adoreable

They were so cute, they came in handy on the plane too - my head was freezing for some reason!! We got the mickey bride & groom ears too, we wore them for the halloween party

You two look so happy!! Can't wait to read more!

Finally our room was ready So we gathered up our or should that be 'my' shopping bags and walked towards the Villas. This place was sooo pretty, better than what photos show!! I loved the covered walkway, there's something about it that I just love We got to our room, a 1 bedroom villa and had a nosey around
