No one wants to go with me to port tomorrow for a light dinner and to watch the Wonder sail away.

I'm going to stop doing the wash, and not buy ham, turkey, bread, egg whites, bananas and milk until someone says they will go have dinner with me the following Sunday - at the port - so I can wave to the people who are to sail before us!

I'm so excited!

Hey Pizzieduster, do you know if you can see the ship sale from the Mexican restaurant over there? I think it is Alcapulco. We are thinking about going to the Aquarium then over for a margarita in time to see the Wonder sail. It sails at 4 right? This sounds like fun!!!!

For anyone traveling in on Saturday and still seeking a hotel, FYI, we just used priceline and got the San Pedro Crowne Plaza for a really good rate - so if you are still booking try priceline!

Less than 2 weeks and counting.

Anyone have a good dinner recommendation for San Pedro on the night before the cruise?

And welcome Cajunchick2 - sorry, can't help with the FEs as we just booked yesterday. I'm sure someone will respond soon.

I just don't want my boys to be disappointed and i thought as a last resort I would do this. As they have never participated and would have no clue as to the rules and workings of the real exchange. At least at the end of the day they will still be smiling and excited for a little surprise. Just want to make sure I'm not going against any rules or would upset anyone.

No rules about hanging your FE, so go for it!!! We just had to have a cut off date because so many people order online, and custom make things, that there was a time constraint. I think you have a great idea, I would absolutely do that with my kids. Now that I think of it, it would have saved us a ton just being our OWN fe!! LOL

I think that is a great idea, your boys will love "checking" the FE to see what surprises there are..won't matter who they are from.

You never know, you might find some "surprises" in there anyway.

Does anyone want to volunteer to print the FE spreadsheet and bring it to the meet to hand-out? I can do it (and will, if it doesn't work out for anyone else) but since I didn't make any of them I would have no idea if the formatting is right etc.

Will be counting the days until we leave now that winter has decided to make an appearance. It is a chilly -38 today with a bit of a wind that makes it feel like -41. Sure is nippy outside and it isn't supposed to change for at least the rest of the week. brrrrrrrrrrrrrr
