My parents were trying to guess my screen name tonight---NC Beast said it from another room, but they didn't hear him.

I enjoyed rum and diet cokes this week (my parents did BYOB)---and now they are leaving in the morning. I just might have NC Beast buy some.

So---
Cadburysmom---how did you pack the liquor for the plane when you did the cruise? I was thinking about bringing some rum and stuff and do the refill mugs for the soda for WDW. I cannot bring myself to spending $10 a mixed drink yet unless it is so really good. That is like a counter service meal---and I want to be good on the budget.

[bcheeringmom, how's Sam? How's UF (she is at UF, right?)? Does she love it. Is she going through rush? What's up? How about Tom? What' year is he this year? Junior? Does he like his new school? Is Lauren in school this year? Josh started Kindergarten last week & seems to like it. He's not jumping for joy to go or anything, but he's also not begging me not to take him, so I figure that's good.

Hey DHB, no, Sam is not interested in sororities at this point. But she was intrigued by the rush system. Who knows about next year.
Tom is not too keen on his new school. Thank goodness he is still a soph. But is doing well in his running. #1 or or #2 on the team.

My little one loves Kind. Thank goodness. Does Josh do all day? Does he get tired? Lauren wants to fall asleep around 5pm UGH. We have a long night until she finally gets put down.

Morning... I went out for dinner last night to celebrate my b'day with one of my friends from when we were in baby buckets and her husband. We did the wine paring dinner... WOW what a wonderful meal!!! Each dish was so unique and special... anyway, good thing I am working from home today, as i am dragon a bit!!!

Making some breakfast... chocolate chip muffins and bagels, with chocolate chip cream cheese..

OMG I can't totally believe it! Looks like we may be under another mandatory evacuation due to the hurricane. I will know more tonight. My hubby called and he works at a local air base and he said looks probable. He has to go into work tomorrow at 7 am for an update meeting. Can you believe it??

Today we aren't going to do much celebrating. Eric has football practice until 7:30 pm and Geoff and the cross country team are going to the high school football game after their pratice today. So no one will be home for a b'day dinner or anything. But tomorrow, my Dad is going to Eric's football game and then we are going out to dinner to celebrate. And on Sunday, we are having my family over to celebrate Eric's, my niece Chaya Mushka and my b'days.

Not sure where to go for dinner to celebrate .. Eric and my Dad want to go to Bahama Breeze but Scott and Geoff don't like the food. So we can go to Outback or a local place that is closer to home that I have a coupon for a free B'day dinner, but Eric doesn't want to go as we went for his b'day and used his free dinner coupon. Any suggestions?

Cheeringmom, Yep, Josh is in all day K. He's handling it OK, but I think he needs to have "rest time" in his room for about an hour when he gets home, just to unwind a bit. He gets aggravated with Lainie really fast & I think it's just because he's tired. EVACUATION?? Man, I hope that sucker changes course a bit so you can stay put.

you're turning into quite the little lush, aren't cha (just kidding) ..and to answer your question, I packed wine in a special wine carrier for the flight before the cruise but when I won all the liquor in St. Thomas, I just used the special cardboard carriers the liquor was delivered to the ship in. You might also try LOTS of bubble wrap and make sure the bottle is wrapped so in case it leaks, your clothes won't get pickled
So when are ya gonna post those cute pics???

I've been true to my tag. I had some asparagus with butter and parmesan Sunday and am making it again tonight. Mmmmmmmmmm, is sho is gooooooood!

We were almost going to add our extra days at the end of October---but, we wanted to try Blizzard Beach. It will be so funny watching NC Beast go down the slides. Plus, Pop would be a let down after BWV.

We are still on with OF and etc. for 10/24.

NC Beast and I are most likely be hanging out at Epcot on 10/26 until DME pick up in the late afternoon.

I have no other sit downs ADRed yet. We are definitely hitting Beaches at least once. We are not eating too many sit downs this trip because we are road tripping Thanksgiving weekend for a week or so.

M4M---are you just looking at a dinner at the resorts only or considering a park? WL area---never been to Artist Point, but that maybe nice for adult only. I heard rumors about you and the WCC. NC Beast and I should try WCC sometime in the next trip or two.
I be back in a few for more ideas.

M4M-- NC Beast just walked in...

He suggests that if you all want to be lushes...then Wolfgang Puck's (Cafe or upstairs) then PI afterwards. We have not personally done this---we tend to do quick serves in order to enjoy more park time. Biergarten--show plus lush potential with extra sampling around WS? Okay, non-lush ideas? Boma (I guess one can get adult beverages there too---I don't drink usually unless its someone's treat like FIL/MIL).
