NC Belle I'm in the mood for some barbeque...how bout getting da Beast to crank up the grill!

All you 2006 Disney cruisers need to change dates to join us on our cruise!
We had a blast last Jan with fellow DISers we met on the boards and I was looking forward to another great one....but quite frankly, the group traveling with us next Feb just doesn't sound like much fun at all...in fact, it's totally bumming me out. But I'm fair and impartial so I'll give it a few more months before I decide whether or not to boot them off our ship

Cadburysmom---Sorry, no bbq until maybe this weekend. We are having our doors fixed and kitchen floor fixed this week. Plus, Jessie is a bit upset at the moment because she hates our new floor fan. She is a bit scared of it.

Well, tomorrow we're off to the beach again but only for one night...just a quickie to visit my Atlanta cousins and chow on fresh seafood and hush puppies...gotta love living in a coastal state!

Hi everyone!

Long weekend, got lots of work done. Hung shelves in the kids rooms (well, helped DH do it), unpacked a few more boxes, hung some curtains, took care of the kids, yada yada yada.....maybe will post pics if I ever find the digital camera


OH....anyone got a beta ? The school gave the kids one (each), and I want to make sure we don't kill them! SO, if you do have one, how often do I need to clean the bowl? Anything special I need to know? (And before anyone says it, YES, they are in separate bowls.)

Did you hear about the new cruise(s) they announced on Friday????? A 10 day and 11 day southern Caribbean in Sept '06????? I let PixieMagic know right away, as the 10 day is over her birthday (though I don't want to wait A YEAR to cruise). These are on the Wonder, and I wonder what they will do for the people who had 3 and 4 day cruises booked over those dates??? I think technically they only have to refund deposits, but I bet those who squeek will get some grease Think I'll over to the cruise boards and see what's going on there. Later!

I am dying over those new cruises, but no way in hell can I wait THAT long to cruise. St. Kitts is by far - BY FAR - my favorite island of all time! It is spectacular!!!!! I will save up for an adults only cruise the next time they do this. BUT man, are those super tempting cruises.

cadburysmom did Jordon have fun at his camp? Why don't you switch yu=our dates and come cruisin with us!!! HUH!! why don't cha...Jordon would have fun with my boys on the sports deck/eating pizza/burgers/ice cream/et al plus you and I could empty the ship of anything chocolate..

As for cruising ibouncetoo , I saw that cruise but since it is when the kids are in school/ sports/last month of a qtr not possible for us.

oh cadsmom, forgot to say (but geffric reminded me) that the pepole on my cruise seem totally awesome (not typical DIS'rs, though) - big partyers too. I am scared I can't keep up. But there are very few DIS'rs on the cruise. There's only two other families plus their friends. I chose an unpopular cruise obviously, hence why I could afford it.

I use www.totaltravelinsurance.com

There is www.insuremytrip.com also. I have Travelex insurance.

Always go outside the cruise line and outside your travel agency to insure. I got a policy that has -- wait, I am trying to find my policy now......

Morning...making breakfast this am.. a little breakfast of omelettes to order, hash browns,and a BIG dessert - chocolate hot fudge sundaes with whipped cream and nuts and a cherry on top or chocolate peanut butter sundaes like a no way jose..

It is gonna be hot today.. i guess we will need more ice cream..gotta go to the store and get some more chocolate ..

OK you North Carolina babes. Its about time for me to start up on my second (used to be my first) Internet Obsession. Yes, folks, its time to start addressing those post cards and lurking on the boards of the.....

HGTV DREAM HOME!

This year's home is in Lake Lure at the Grey Rock community. It looks spectacular. NCBelle, aren't you in this area? Every year the board members (of which I am not one but I have been lurking obsessively since 2000) look for people to do some scouting out. So I am asking my NC friends to scout out the area for me. Don't start thinking you are going to win, though. That is reserved for ME and only me - just kidding (and I would put smilies here but I am being driven insane today by the board quirks so I don't want to make any rash moves and switch to a pop up or some such other nonsense). The house so far looks like my absolute dream house - this may be the best year yet. Every year I put several hundred post cards (yup that many) into the mail box and every year I don't win.
