what a memory!! Yep, still in Florida. Hate the summers.

Sam is in summer school right now. We had to pull her from spring semester. She ruptured her appendix the end of january and had to have two more surgeries for abcesses etc. It was a tough recovery. She is still having some problems but is being monitored by doctors now.

How is the Beast??? Any old timers around besides you guys? What happend to Tiggerfans?hometownfavorites.com? ohanafamily?? are they still posting?

I hope that Sam get healed up soon.

NC Beast is working days and loving. We have started a garden this year.

RRBB & OF now are proud parents of Sophia (5/10/2007). They have not posted much on the other thread for almost a month.

Tiggerfans pops up once in a blue moon.

I think Tinkbackwards posts under another name somewhere on the DIS.

I'm still kicking. Been busy with our addition and renovating the entire house. Lots of work but loads of satisfaction! But I am getting old and tired. Need to do it now while I can still get around!! hehehe

Today is American Girl Doll Store day!!!!

We are taking Stephanie downtown to the AG Store for her birthday (her b-day is not until next Sunday though) to have lunch and to pick out a new doll with some clothes - she is so excited!!!! We are leaving Katie with my MIL so Stephanie can have us all to herself today If time permits, we are also going to take her on a carriage ride, and take her to Ghiradellis for some ice cream. We also have the FD picnic today that we didn't want to totally miss - so it's going to be a very jammed packed day

Wish me luck that I don't end up spending to much money today

We went to a wedding Saturday at the Oak Brook bath and tennis club. The ceremony was outside and very nice. It was set near a small lake and was just beautiful with the tress and the lake. When we walked in to the section that the ceremony was to be held, everyone got a little box. The box had a butterfly and at one point in the ceremony we all released our butterflys. It was amazing to see. The reception was inside the club house and was very nice. To start we had fruit on a skewer with a drizzle of a while creamy sauce. YUMMY!! Then came the salad and the entree was a chicken stuff with creamed spinach and a filet plus carrots and zucchini for veggies and a little pototo things. It was way too much food but very delicious. I gave my filet to Eric. He ate both filets and some of his checken. Geoff ate his dinner and some of Eric's chicken. Scott ate my pototos and I ate Eric's veggies.. The DJ was great and we danced and talked with Scott's family and had a wonderful time.

Yesterday, I did some errands. Went to Coldwater Creek for their 70% off sale but it didn't open til noon and so i went to Home Depot and got some LGMH for our trip.


SLO have fun at the dinner tonight.. hope you meet lots of people to come and visit the store and increase sales...

The dinner was nice and I was able to meet a couple of new people.
The next event is a luau, but I'm not sure if I'm going to go because I will have to work until 7pm.
