Belle - My shepherd used to love the snow too. He would run in it like I injected him with a pot of espresso :lmao: He was very fun to watch!!!! :goodvibes Does Jessie love the water? There are so many labs that just love love love being in water :)

Have a good day today everyone!!!

So, I thought I would finally finish my TR from January :teeth:

I took this is Saturday morning at 6am when we went to the MK to see my friend run the 1/2 marathon.

Then we ate breakfast at Whispering Canyon where I shot this picture. Remember, the day before the place was filled with Christmas cheer.

Afterwards, we went to Epcot to spend the day

endof2006160.jpg

We went on the new Finding Nemo ride, which we really enjoyed!!!!

We visited the American Adventure, which was still decorated for X-Mas

I took this in MouseGears (I thought it was cute!!)

This lighted arch-way leading to the World Showcase was beautiful!!!

That lighted arch-way led straight to the Christmas tree, which was beautiful!!!

The next day (Sunday) my friend and I went to MGM (Kevin was sick and stayed in bed for awhile. He did join us at around 4pm)

This Santa was above Mama Melrosa's. I noticed him as we were eating outside at Pizza Planet.

Herbie was all decked out for Christmas.
It was nice seeing him with a bow, instead of love bugs, like in Sept.

endof2006191.jpg

All the lights had a christmas tree on them - I thought that was pretty cool!!

endof2006192.jpg

Than for the first time, we were able to see the Osborne Festival of Lights - it was magnificent!!!!!

Then later that night, Kevin went back to bed, and my friend and I went to the MK to enjoy EMH. This is where we saw Nicole and Tony at Stitch's Great Escape, and I'm really kicking myself for not having someone take a picture of Nicole and I - oh well, next time!!!

The next morning we got up early so we could go have breakfast at The Crystal Palace. The castle was back to normal (I loved the 50th Anniversary castle, but I really love the castle most when it looks normal)

It was sad seeing Splash Mountain all dried up :(
This is mine and Stephanie's favorite ride to do together

While we were waiting to get into the Haunted Mansion we saw this tombstone with a little lizard and a rose on it

endof2006265.jpg

I also noticed for the first time that this tombstone moves. Did you all know that it's eyes and head moved? I think I'm the only one that didn't know this. This is why I love going to WDW over and over again. Just when I think I have seen it all, I find something else that I didn't notice before.

When we were leaving the MK I had to take a picture of these 3 windows. I just loved how they made the skirts for these dresses out of dolls. It's sorta hard to see the bust of the dress from the reflection in the windows, but if you look close you can see it.

Well, that's it - I hope you enjoyed it!!!!

Your pictures are great! We are debating between October and December for our next trip.

Jessie has not had a chance to go swimming yet. My family's dog (she was a lab---unsure of the percentage of lab---pound puppy) used to escape and take dips in the swamp water when she was a pup. My mother used to have us help give that dog frequent baths during the summers. That dog was real good with young children (she tolerate a lot from my younger cousins). My parents still miss that dog, but they don't want another dog so they like to spoil their "grand doggies". :)

Thanks!!! :goodvibes

I understand how your mom feels ::yes:: I miss my shepherd so much everyday, but I don't want another dog either. We tried to get another dog after Sampson passed (a black Lab) but he was just to crazy (happy crazy, not mean crazy), and I was afraid of Katie's safety (she was a newborn at the time). So he went to a local trainer (who trains police dogs) and he trained Indy (black Labs name) to be a bomb and arson dog, and now he has a career:thumbsup2 He has a great life!!!! :teeth:

It's 9 below zero outside right now :cold:
Not good!!!! :sad2: :cold:

We got our taxes done---we still get a refund from both state and federal (barely). We went and said hi to my old Store GM.

NC Beast is going daytime hours tomorrow so we are starting to go bed at a normal hour. Hopefully, I won't burn his breakfast. :)

Hey Belle - What's for breakfast today? Do ya mind if I come and join ya? Even if you burn it, it's gotta be better than my Special K ;)

Not to much going on here today
I think it's going to snow (but I've heard that before too)

Have a good day!!

I didn't make NC B. breakfast---I was too sleepy from keeping an eye on the alarm clock. We usually don't need it with his night shift, but now with him switching days....

Jessie is starting to adjust to the new schedule (no crying from her this morning, but she was getting herself into mischief).

:) MIL called a little while ago...oops, we didn'tcall the past ? weeks because they were in TX.

She told me that my DN thinks my gifts are the coolest. :cloud9: :goodvibes Guess who has a birthday in a month? She is turning 10 next month.
