We had been able to get a 8 pm ADR at Akershus and we were killing time until then. Im not sure why I picked Akershus, when there were lots of other (and much better) places we could have eaten at.
But we headed back to Norway, going the long way. I checked in around 7:45 and we proceeded to wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. We went into the store and looked around.

Kellan battled a troll.
To kill time, I took a bunch of pictures.

And then we waited some more. We were finally called at almost 9 pm. At this point, were both cranky because were hungry and expected to be eating an hour earlier. We were also cranky because we had to deal with the other cranky families around us with dozens of kids who should have been in bed long before then.
We were called in and had our photo taken with Belle. She was also having a cranky day. She was putting off some serious dont touch me vibes and really looked uncomfortable in the photo.

Be our guest? Not today!
Our waitress was Henriette. She explained how the meal worked and took our order, before directing us up to the cold board. There wasnt much up here Kellan wanted to eat. There were some cold cuts and tossed salad, but much of what was there had mayonnaise or cheese involved in some way.
For our mains, I ordered seared herb-dusted beef tips in wild mushroom sauce served with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The beef was tough and tasted like pine needles. The mushroom sauce was overly sweet and pretty gross. Kellan got the grilled pork tenderloin with rutabaga mashed potato, hericots verts, and caramelized onion sauce. The green beans were good, but the rest of the meal was inedible. The pork was super dry and there was a strange sweetness to the sauce as well. I do have photos of this but they are truly unappetizing so Im not going to put them up.
Dessert was a sampling of chocolate mousse (very good), a puff pastry with mascarpone mousse and berries (not bad) and rice cream with strawberries (eww). The texture of the rice cream was too slimy for me, but the other desserts were ok.
While we were eating we saw Snow White, Ariel, Cinderella and Aurora. Turned out was the same Aurora we had seen in the castle and at Town Square. She was sort of abrupt, even asking you dont need another photo with me do you? My answer was, of course we do. I might have said no if she had been nicer about it. There was a really nice family sitting behind us who offered to take photos of Kellan and I with the princesses which was nice, since were not in photos together much. Lol.

Snow White was as delightful as always.

As was Ariel.

And Cinderella. I also finally stopped doing the princess hand with Cinderella.

And our cranky Aurora.
It was well after closing when we left the restaurant and Epcot was nearly empty. This meal was pretty terrible and I was very sad that our last supper in Disney wasnt a good one. :-( We took our time walking back to the entrance, knowing this would be the last time wed see Epcot for a while. *sigh*

Good bye Epcot.
There was a bus pulling into our stop just as we got there and we boarded. We got lucky and found seats for the ride home.
When we got home, I finished packing up everything we didnt need for the next day. I was very worried our one bag was going to be overweight, but there was nothing we could do about it.
