Mowgli and Baloo

With the new Jungle Book coming out, I wonder if Mowgli and Baloo will return. My kids want a picture with them more than they do with Sadness or Joy.

I wish Disney kept more of the CLASSIC characters, like Robin Hood (yes the fox) and not just the princesses and the newest money makers.

Jungle Cruise would be way better with some Jungle Book characters on them

Baloo and King Louis ( from the animated movie) do meet in AK. I don't recall Mowgli ever being there.

Yea Baloo and King Louie have always met in AK around flights of wonder area entrance. No Mowgli as he would be hard to cast as a meet and greet

The only time Mowgli has made an appearance for a meet and greet was years ago during a special night event, I forget if it was just AP event. We met him in Asia by the animal trail. But yeah, currently it's just Baloo and King Louie

Also found this, it looks like they were doing a surprise appearance in 2013. I think it's best we keep Mowgli in just our imagination

LOL- Yup, I told my kids that there is not going to be a Mowgli because no one wants a naked person running around.

I never knew they were in AK- now the search will be on to find them! Thanks!

this was just a one time thing though. Mowgli is not there anymore

DD met them two years ago - - I think Baloo signed, but King Louie couldn't.

And the gazebo is kinda hard to find. I use kenny the pirate's maps and we still had to ask a nearby cast member. They are very near restrooms and there is a drink kiosk to the left of the entrance. It's soon after the bridge to discovery island I believe.

Baloo does sign but King Louie doesn't. He apparently doesn't like paperwork

Baloo and Louie are right up there with my favorite character interactions ever! Definitely make time to see these two! And as other people said, Baloo will sign King Louie does not.

We love their interactions and always try to catch them in AK. We just missed out on them there this last trip and then thankfully stumbled upon King Louie in Epcot the next day with a bunch of other characters like King John, Goofy, Mickey, Rafiki, Mr Smee and some bear I didn't recognize maybe Wilfred??? It was an excellent character meet and greet with incredibly short lines.
