Just curious for all of you who have moved lately:
When buying an existing home, has the seller paid for or repaired:
- broken/cracked windows, or
- plumbing leaks.
If they covered that and repairs were not done by closing, how did they cover the costs:
- check for an estimated repair bill,
- Escrow fund to cover repairs,
- Deduction from what you owed them in pre-paid taxes, etc.
Any thoughts/experiences would be helpful.
By next week I'll be able to go to Home Depot and
start spending my life's savings.
