Moving Walkways

My friend has really poor mobility and we found that taking lots of small quick steps on and off seemed to help as apprised to full stride steps.
Don’t know if it would work for everyone but it helped her.
She also practiced getting on and off the escalator at the mall before our trip.

Hi everyone,

Is there a list somewhere that has rides that include a moving walk way? I had knee replacement surgery this past November and am worried about the moving walk ways, so if you can help point me in the right direction or if you just know, it would be appreciated.

Thanks!

The only ones I can think of are Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, and the People Mover in MK, and Spaceship Earth in Epcot.

When are you going? Based only on my own experience with 2 knee replacements, I had no trouble navigating these types of things after 3 months. Although everyone's mileage may vary. If you aren't going for several months you should be fine. Trust the PT.

End of May, I will be 6 months out, I just worry about being off balance and falling on the walkways! I hate moving walkways in general anyway when you have to get on them from the side. I don't know if you have been to Universal but the Forbidden Journey before my surgery was hard, I always felt awkward trying to hurry and get on the walkway and turn around and get in the seats as they moved. Oy lol but sure loved the ride :D

I get it. My doesn't like the moving walkways either. Same with escalators.
