Moving to Perth

Hi everyone. My son and I are off to Disneyland on Sunday for a week. We are in the process of moving to Perth (DH) arrived in April. We will be stopping for a few days in Auckland as well. Next up we are thinking of a Disney trip to Hong Kong in October. Lots of good info on this forum.

I have lived in Perth for most of my life. It is beautiful and there actually seem to be a lot of Canadian expats there. Will be a bit warmer than you're used to though

I love HKDL, and it would be an even easier trip from Perth There's not a lot of info around about it, and it can be difficult to plan a trip there if you're used to the US parks. But now there's quite a lot of information on the HKDL boards here. I often pop in there to see if there's any questions I can answer having been there before.

Congrats on your upcoming trips! Planning is just as much fun as making memories on the trip!
We have lived in Perth for the last five years. I am not an expert but we have had a good look around if you have any questions-lol. We are in the process of packing to move to Brisbane (where I grew up).

We leave Canada on Sunday and will arrive in Perth on the 16th. This is not our first move to Oz as we lived in Brisbane for 2/12 years in 1999. I am looking forward to not having to shovel snow for a couple of years. Monday morning we will be at rope drop, can't wait!
