I have my 50th bday trip planned for November with free dining for a week at French Quarter. Decided I want to fly in the day before and do a room only for one night rather than the early morning flight. I can get a much better rate staying at Port Orleans Riverside (TA rate) for one night than adding a room only night at the French Quarter. Will Disney transport me from Riverside to the French Quarter or will I be shlepping my luggage along the Sassagoula River to get from one resort to the other?
I'll be anxious to get checked in that first morning so I expect it will be an early arrival at French Quarter.:rolleyes1

i have done a few split stays i had to move my own luggage myself one time the resort made me wait until the 3:00 check in so i just had the new resort hold my luggage and when i was done park hopping i picked it up and checked in to the new resort

Disney will move your luggage for you. May take most of the day.

You can take it over in a cab.

Or you can talk to Guest Services, since you are right next door, they may be able to take you in the golf cart over next door. The desk is right outside the entrance doors to the left. I make arrangements every year for them to pick my up at my room to take me up front, since I mostly travel alone.
