Have you ever tried to move your child into another age group in the kids clubs? My DD is 5, but her best friend who will also be on the cruise in only 4. Would they let me move my DD down to the 3-4 age group? princess:

They are a LOT less strict about moving down than up. A child can move up only if they are within 30 days of the birthday that allows them into the next group AND has permission of the counsellor and parent. Moving down is done with permission of counsellor and parent. THe 3-4 and 5-7s are in the same area and have some of the same activities. We don't know when your cruise is...but this is a decision that you don't need to make until you actually board. You might want to evaluate your child's maturity level and make a decision at that time. There's a HUGE difference between a 3 year old and a 5 year old.

We're cruising in March. DD is definitely mature enough to be in the 5-7 year old group, but she will want to be with her friend.:earsgirl:

We moved our son, then 5-years old, so that he could be with his cousin who was 4-years old. I told the CM when we were signing the kids up for the Club. Her response was that it would be o.k to move my son into the younger group, however, they reserve the right to move him back to the 5-7 group if he was not having fun or seemded bored.

Have a great cruise.
