I'm retiring in 65 days and the plan is to begin some longer WDW trips, possibly with split stays. Because we will be flying, we will have groceries delivered to the resort. I am planning on bringing some things in checked luggage if it saves a little. I know bell services will transfer all the groceries to the next resort, but I'm wondering what everyone does about opened containers. Maybe I'm a little paranoid, but I don't like handing over opened food items for anyone to be able to do anything with. My DH wants to do two separate orders, one at each resort, but there are some things that I know we won't finish at the first resort, and I don't want to be wasteful. Anyone have any experience with this?

We do split stays all the time. We move milk, cereal, eggs, bread, juice etc. basically what i Cook for breakfast. It’s never been a problem. It’s kept in a cooler Case and the milk stays pretty cold. It never even occurred to me to Worry about open containers.

Hire an Uber to go to next resort. But it will still be kept at bell serviced until the Room is ready,
