We are thinking of moving to another resort for our last two nights. Is this a bad idea? Seems we may lose valuable time moving. Is it worth it? :confused3

You know I have seen alot of people that do spit stays and I admire them for it. It seems nice to be able to spend some time at one resort and then a little time at a "dream" kind of resort. I however don't think it is a good idea. you are right about the time that you would spend moving from one to another. once settled, the last thing you are going to want to do is re pack and then unpack again. Why don't you visit the other resort.. have dinner there, wander the grounds... if you get a good feel for it then stay there the next time. What ever you decide, have a great time and don't try to jam it all in one trip. relax and have a magical vacation :wizard:

Do usually split up everytrip bettwen 2 resorts, I say GO FOR IT! wake up an extra 30 mins early on "moving day" pack up, bring your luggage to the front, thengo out for the day when you come back MOVE - I thin you might loose say 1 - 2 hours max, but I think it is worth it!

We did a split stay in Dec. at AKL to YC. It was so easy. We woke up in the morning and had bell services take all of our luggage to transfer to YC. We ate at Boma and went to Epcot. Around 2:00 we walked to YC and checked in etc. Once we were in our room we called bell services at YC and had them deliver our luggage. I don't feel that we lost any time with the transfer. I should also note that we are both fine "living" out of our suitcase. I am not one to unpack all my stuff so it was easy for me to get ready for the transfer. I also liked that it felt like we had two vacations because each resort has its own feel.

We are staying 5 nights at BCV and 2 nights at POR
It was economical for us, and we would never be able to afford to stay the weekend at BCV. I'm actually excited to be staying at 2 different resorts. It will be a re-newed adventure towards the end of our honeymoon.

We've moved to different resorts on several occasions and you won't lose any time if you plan and do it right. Get up a little earlier, call bellhop when we're almost done packing, and they'll pick up your luggage and transfer it to your new hotel. Do your thing, and when you get to your new hotel, let them know your luggage was transferred and they'll bring it right up. We've never had a problem doing this. ::yes::
