Moving from on-site hotel to DD hotel

If you stay at an on-site hotel and then move to a downtown Disney hotel will bell services move your luggage as they would do with an on-site to on-site hotel move?

I don't believe so. Even though DD hotels are on property they are not operated by Disney. So you will be responsible for moving yourself.
