moving booked vacation to 2016??

I currently have a visit booked with resort, tickets and dining plan for Dec 29, 2015. We booked very far in advance and are thinking of bumping the trip to 2016...March or as late as june. Does anyone know if I can move my whole trip? Is there a penalty? I'm currently 200 days out from check in and I don't want to be penalized. Online booking dates end at Dec 31 and there is no calendar yet for 2016....

You'll have to wait until 2016 rates are released before you can move your package to next year.

No penalty this far out.

I was wondering when the dates for 2016 would open, so thank you for that info!

Does anyone know if we go down in price, ex. change resort or number of days we are staying, if we will be charged a change fee? I'm doing my best to change plans before we are penalized in anyway but I'm no expert on when to do so! TIA

I have been trying to change my reservation online via the disneyworld.com site and MDE. There is a change reservation link and I am able to adjust everything but when I get to the end to confirm changes I continue to get an error message--unable to add card--which I am not trying to do. Just wondering if anyone else is having trouble on the site. Was trying to avoid calling in changes since you can now do it online, but since it won't work guess I might have to call anyway

If all you have is the room, the tickets and dining plan,
I see no real advantage in trying "move" it.

Why not just cancel your Dec. reservation and make a new one for the time you want to go.
