Moving away - all alone!! lol

Hiyas all! Im new to this particular board on DIS.
Im Dan and I live in Kent (just outside of London, England) and I will be moving to Toronto in November for a year (possibly longer) - I just wanted to introduce my self and say Hi!
If there are any people out there that do regular group meets or anything that I could tag along to then please let me know. I will need all the friends I can get moving to North America all on my own!
Also I'm looking to make travelling buddies as i dont really have anyone to go the parks with - so maybe I could join up with or form a band of merry men / women who would like to plan trips and go on them etc...
Anyway, I dont bite so drop me a line!

Toronto is an absolutely GREAT city. I think you'll love it. Keep in mind that a lot of Canadians in the Toronto/Hamilton/Niagara area fly to Orlando out of Buffalo, New York. There is a lot of competition so fares stay relatively low (recent sale fare was USD 59.00 each way) and no international taxes like you'd have out of Toronto, which really drives up the price!
