Moving Around DW from the Swan

Hi Guy's,
My family and i are about to head across to DW from OZ, it’s our first trip to DW and we are soooo excited. We are staying at the Swan Resort and are really confused on the best way to get around to all the parks.
Would we walk to Epcot and then use the mono rail ?????
Any help would be greatly appreciated

The Swan has boat service to DHS and Epcot and bus service to MK and AK. You also can walk to Epcot and DHS from the Swan.

There are direct buses to MK, AK and DTD. You can walk or take the boat to Epcot and DHS.

I wouldn't walk to Epcot to take the monorail to MK. You would have to walk all the way through Epcot and out the front gate to get to the monorail station, that's quite a hike - at least a mile.

And it requires hoppers or APs.

You will be pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to get around WDW when staying at an onsite resort.
The walk to Epcot, from the Swan, is about 12 mins. The walk to DHS is about 18. You can take a boat to both places as well.

There are buses to DTD, AK, and MK. The bus stop is off to the left of the main entrance to the resort...it's very obvious.
