Moving a booking

The credit isn't showing on our account yet but I assume it will take a couple of days. We have been the last 2 weeks in august twice now and have booked for august again next year. Yes it's hot but there are plenty of things you can do to cool down. We were there for a tropical storm one year where it rained heavily for4 days straight. On TV they said it was the worst rain for20 years because it hit land and just didn't want to move but it hasn't put us off at all.

Great to know you like it enough to go back again and again at that time of year. We're now limited to the holidays as our daughter starts senior school. We usually go September time and last year found it quite busy. How do you find the crowds those 2 weeks-long ques and are they mainly British?!
What sort of prices do you end up paying for flights? Feel a bit apprehensive changing months! :)

Our DS is off to secondary school this September too. The crowds aren't too bad. We have been in June and October and they are much lighter than June but heavier than oct. I don't find the heat to be too bad at all really.

I have had an email confirming the credit on the old booking and that it will be transferred to the new booking so definitely worth anyone struggling to sort it to call back.

With flights the first time we went in august was a package. Last time we managed to pay under £500 each for indirect but I think we were very lucky with that price. I'm expecting around £700 for indirect and will be ok with that.

Just to update again. My new booking now shows the deposit of £200 paid against it so everything has now transferred over as it should be

Thanks for your help we have just taken the plunge and re booked for the last 2 weeks of August 2015:cool1: We paid £50 over the phone and she will transfer the £150 across from our old booking. Just need to work the husband a bit harder now to pay for it :rotfl2:

Great news.

I'll be there next August too, staying at the Yacht Club. I'm so glad it all worked out for you! Have fun in Japan!
