What is a movie that you saw a long time ago that the plot still sticks with you??

For me, I always remember Shawshank Redemption

A tree grows in Brooklyn. I can cry just thinking about it :(

The Green Mile, Steel Magnolias, Thelma & Louise are a few that I think of right now.

Thought of this one: Schindler's List - the little girl in the red coat is a haunting sequence. I can't think of the movie without that picture in my mind.

Besides some of those mentioned above is "What Dream May Come". Just the thought of someone loving you that much.

Being a parent and the thought of having to make such a difficult choice.

Lord of the Flies

I know it was a book, but I never read it. When I saw the movie it really really bothered me. Still does to this day.

Losing Isiah with Halle Berry...great movie! Another fav is A Time to Kill and Of Mice and Men

Full Metal Jacket. I think I saw it in 1987 but I have never forgotten it.

Definitely "John Q."

That was on TV tonight!! DH and DS watched it.

Then DS had to come in and ask me about Hell!! I forgot how creepy it is in some parts.

Ohh, that was a good one. I loved that movie!!

Another one is "The Shining"

Here's another one... You guys might think I'm crazy, but waaaay back in 2000 :teeth: there was a TV miniseries called "The 10th Kingdom" that I adore.

I just found out they're selling it on DVD.

I'd have to agree that Of "Mice and Men" is one that you never forget.
Also "A Simple Plan" with Billy Bob Thorton

I would have to agree with The Shinning. I think about that movie every time we stay at a hotel. Especially if the hotel isn't very crowded.

All the Right Moves
Brian's Song - the original
Remember the Titans
Where the Red Fern Grows
