I think the only time you're subjected to nothing-but-SW is on the day at sea on the Fantasy. There is literally nothing going on NOT SW from what I could tell on the Navigator. :crazy2: (I assume the Magic will be that way with the super hero stuff when they do that.

I would think that while the new SW thing will be playing, they'll be showing Moana and other recent-ish legit Disney movies.

From the FAQ sticky:
Movies - You can call 888-325-2500, choose the reservations option, then ask what movies will be showing the week you cruise.

When I called Friday, they told me these were the ones playing on the Wonder, but are subject to change:
Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Zootopia
The Jungle Book
Captain America
Finding Dory
The BFG
Pete's Dragon
Dr. Strange
Moana
Rogue One

We just left the Wonder on Sunday.
The movies in the theater were Dr. Strange, Star Wars: Rogue One, Moana, and Finding Dory.

There were also more on deck, but I cannot remember the names.

We were on the same cruise! caught a late night Rogue one but we didnt see any of the other movies.

How frequently do they change them? Of the current list, at least 5 of those were playing back in Aug/Sep EBPC.

They tend to keep movies running onboard longer than land-based theaters. Mostly the most recent releases, as well as those that are extremely popular. I think Frozen ran almost 2 years on the ships.

If it's Disney and it's been released in the last 6 months or so, chances are, you can see it in the Buena Vista theatre (Funnel Vision is a whole different ballgame). If it's really popular (like, as Shmoo mentioned, Frozen, or I remember happened with The Force Awakens) those may show longer.

It's the most recent Disney movies released--so if you have a 7 night cruise, you'll maybe have the last 7-10 movies they released--which does go back quite a ways.
