Movie tickets as low as $4.00

I am in the same situation! I am going to file a dispute with Paypal today...as I am tired of the runaround.

same here. dislike verizon now. charged me and never EVER sent conf or email. I emailed them 3 times.:sad2:

File your dispute!

I filed mine on Monday and just received the email this morning that my $$$ has been refunded. So while I am bummed that I lost out on the tickets, I am glad that I got my $$$ refunded, and very quickly!

I filed my dispute today after I called the Sprint number for the 4th time. The people answering the phones have no clue...can only say they know there was a glitch, but can only take a message. What a crock!

I think you mean Sprint as that is who the program was through...although you might dislike Verizon too :)

I bought 2 tickets through sprint and haven't used them yet - when I checked out I got one promo code but then sprint sent 2 emails each with a different code

So is each code for 1 ticket or 2?

I didn't read all the posts but I just wanted to let everyone know my experience. When I bought the tickets $8, the codes came up. I then received an email with the codes. Later on I received another email reminding me of the codes. Last saturday, we went to redeem two of the codes. When I entered the codes together in one transaction, it asked me to pay $1 for the service fee. I cancelled the transaction and went in and did two separate transactions and it did not cost me anything for than the $8 I already paid. Also when I went to movie theatre with the transaction code, she asked me for my credit card and I told her that she wouldn't find it with the credit code, that she had to manually do a search (said in the confirmation page). She got a manager who did it with no problem.

So long story short when you enter each code, you will have to do separate transactions with only ticket at a time and one code at a time so you won't have to pay a service fee.

for those who didn't get a code, be thankful. It is more work than I care to do to go see a movie. I would rather go to AAA and get my discounted tickets or go to a matinee. Jumping through hoops to save a couple of dollars isn't really worth it anymore. Six more tickets to go.

I just entered both codes in the same Fandango transaction. No extra fee but Fandango charges a regular service fee that the codes covered in full. Printed the tickets from home and they were scanned at the movies by the ticket taker.

About as easy as buying tickets get IMO.

I just purchased my ticket through Fandango and it covered the service fee. I copy and pasted my code directly from the email I received from Sprint. Sorry to hear some are being charged the fee. I wonder if it's because you're not using the ticket at the theater you chose when buying the tickets. :confused3

me too. what a bunch of nonsense for tix that usually cost only a few dollars more.

OP here. I had no problems redeeming two codes in one Fandango transaction and was not charged a fee. There were no charges at all other than the $8.00 I paid to Sprint via Paypal for the tickets.

I received each code right after I paid online via Paypal, and then received each code again in separate email. The email message explicitly stated that the code was only going to be in that one email and to save it because it would not be able to be retrieved again.

I wonder if for some people that email went to their junk mailboxes and got deleted in a mass delete? I'd be willing to be that's where the missing email messages went.

Sorry some of you had problems. It was easy on my end -- not any harder than buying tickets on Fandango any other day.
