OK...I can see as we get closer and I work on my packing lists that you all can expect waaaayyyyy too many questions.

How much is popcorn and other snacks outside the theater on the Wonder?

Anne

I don't recall the exact price but I would expect to spend between $3.50 to $5. It is Disney, afterall. ;)

We saw The Incredibles when we were on the Wonder.
We arrived a bit early to make sure that there would be seating. At that time, approximately 25 minutes before the show, nothing was being sold.

I'll be honest, I was always way too full to buy snacks! I usually did bring a soda down with me from the Deck 9 drink station though!pirate:

Have a great trip!

Be aware that the popcorn is prepackaged, not freshly popped. We didn't buy any, so I can't comment on the taste.

I can recall seeing folks bringing pizza slices down to the Buena Vista from deck 9 as movie snacks, and thinking "wish I'd thought of that".

One afternoon the boys ordered popcorn from room service and the price was $3.50 total. They are fairly good sized bag - I didn't hear any complaints about taste - I didn't eat any so I can't say first hand.

Normally I love popcorn at the movies and I snack at work ALL of the time (I have the body for it;) or is that because of it:confused: ). I was usually so full from breakfast and dinners that the thought of food made me a little queesy. DCL had people selling smoothes in the theater before the shows started - I couldn't even imagine trying to drink one.

I went up to Pluto's and got 2 hotdogs and natchos and cheese for the kids. When I got back about 15 minutes before the show snacks were being sold but I'm not sure what the prices were.
My boys loved the natchos! :sunny:

Why didn't I think of that!!! The popcorn just wasn't right. :crazy2:

We saw the Incredibles premiere on the Magic. They had it at midnight in the big theater instead of in the movie theater (I can never keep the names straight). It was the same night as the gala dessert buffet, so once we were seated I went to Lumiere's and loaded up a few plates with assorted desserts. That was some high end movie snacking!

When I walked into the full theater with my booty, I could see people jumping up all around to get their own desserts. That was pretty funny. I couldn't shake the feeling that I was doing something wrong, although I wasn't.

Does anyone know what's playing currently? We're going on the 4day Jan 2nd cruise.

Here's what was playing on Dec 5 4-day cruise:
Princess Diaries 2
Ladder 49
The Incredibles
National Treasure
Around the World in Eighty Days
The Village

When a movie is in the Walt Disney Theater (the one they have the stage show in), they have a good selection of candy, pretzels, and sweets. The also have the full bar in operation.

The Buena Vista movie theatre has much slimmer pickings. A few cans of soda, bagged popcorn, HUGE (like 1 lb.) bags of M & Ms, and some nuts. If you want something good, get it before the movie and bring it with you.

Unfortunately, I don't remember the price of any of this stuff -- way too much, I'm sure. :D
