I saw Panic Room today.. I thought it was pretty intense, but my daughter thought it could have been more intense.. I cried twice.. yikes, I hate violence..Forrest Whittaker was in it and he makes me so sad........he was sort of a bad guy, but you were routing for him and Dwight Yoakem(sp) played a wicked bad guy.....he was so mean.. it got 4 1/2 stars out of a possible 5 on moviefone review.. Anyone else see it, please let me know what you think..

Marsha, one of my sons saw it last night and he said it was terrific! He really, really liked it. I sort of let him "spoil" it for me. I needed to know some things before I see it. I like to be prepared. :)

I want to see this movie, but I need to be in a 'strong mood', I think, to deal with it. It looks waaaaaaay intense! And Barb, I'm the opposite of you in this regard, I don't like to know anything about a movie before I see it. I usually see previews and I decided then and there if it's something I will want to see. If I do want to see it, then I don't want to hear anything about it. If it's something that I won't like, I don't mind hearing about it.

Marsha, you liked it, right? Intense, but good?

I did like it.. it was intense and from a Mother's point of view wretching at my heart sometimes...a couple of times the audience actually sort of moaned as it got that intense.. and at one point people clapped........so it got some audible responses from the audience instead of just sitting there watching.. I will not tell you anything... it did keep me on the edge of my seat.....

I really wanted to go see The Rookie, but Kate wanted to see this..So being Mom, of course, I went along with what she wanted to see...........:)

<font face="comic sans ms"> Marsha, I would like to go see the Panic Room, but I'm kind of a wuss. ;) I'm afraid it will be too suspenseful for me.

I tried to get my movie fanatic friend to go and see it and report back, but he had the nerve to want to see a movie of his choice this weekend. :p :D

Dayna, I have sat through movies that have been more intense.. this had some violent scenes in it that bothered me,, hence the crying, it makes me so upset that I cry...I will say this it made me come home and put my alarm on that night.. and double check all my doors.. You make your own decision from what I am telling you... :D :D :D

dayna,
You sound just like me... I don't want to see it because I hate suspenseful movies... If I knew what was going to happen, it would be better for me..
I think I'm going to forget this movie until it comes on HBO and I can watch it in parts.. lol

We went to see Ice Age.. BAD- YUCK!! Can't watch it again to take the kids back to it...

MOVIES? WHAT ARE MOVIES??? I haven't seen one in so long I've forgotten what they are!

Marsha, I thought the movie was very good. I love a good suspense movie. The acting was great, and the camera work was extraordinary (I see Oscars next year for the Camera work) I didn't even realize it was Dwight Yoakum playing Raul until the closing credits.

What did you think of the opening credits? Isn't it strange talking about the credits, but they were so unique and just blended right in with the landscape.

Well, I haven't seen a movie in months.

I guess I'll have to make a point to go out and see this one.

Thanks for the reviews.

Ray :)

Oh, I sooooo want to see this movie! Maybe Kevin and I can go to a rush-hour show tomorrow night.

We saw We Were Soldiers last weekend. Big mistake! It upset me so badly, I still cry every time I think about it, and it's still keeping me awake at night. So sad.....:( :( :( :(
