Well, I just finished booking an incredible deal I think..... We originally booked CSR for July 1-7th but then found cheap airfare for June14th-20th that cost less than us driving ..... so I called back to see if it were possible to move our ressie to 6/14-20 and we got a flex offer to go to Wilderness Lodge that I couldn't refuse. Later I found out I could arrive a night earlier on the 13th for the same price for air and thought I'd call and get a room only for the 13th and check in to WL and hit the parks early on th 14th. I could only find AKL at $315 for the night. I booked it but I really didn't want to have to switch resorts and thought maybe I could just stay at AKL the entire trip if there were availablility, no luck... the CM said she thought she could get us a room at WL and had me hold a minute then came back and asked if I had thought about Ft. Wilderness Cabins before. I said I love them but it would be too pricey as I had only budgeted for a moderate and gone to deluxe with that flex deal they offered me. She said I could stay at the cabins for $200 less than the WL deal I had plus the ALK and that also added another day of dining and park hoppers. So now I am planning for a cabin trip and an extra day of WDW fun. Any advise on the cabins?
Thanks for reading!

WOW...awesome deal! I love the cabins and the Fort. Have a wonderful time!

We just got back from the cabin two weeks ago. They're great! A lot of room and there's a lot to do at FW.

Check out the camping board. Lots of info over there.

We stayed at WL in May and my sister stayed at the cabins. The cabins are VERY nice. I was a little bit jealous because they were nicer than our room! Although she didn't have the big flat screen (but really who sits in the room watching tv!).:happytv:

You do have to travel a bit through the FW compound though. My sister rented a golf cart.

My sister in law will be at the cabins in two weeks too!

I would love it there but I think I like the quick walk to the pool and boat dock from the WL though.

Have fun!!!
