Moved at 7-month window

We've had a reservation for a 2BR at OKW for Dec 15-23 for a few months now. As we have never stayed at the BCV we decided to try and move the reservation over there. So this morning I called MS (right at the 7-month window) and to my surprise I was able to move the entire ressie lock, stock, and barrel without having to waitlist any days. I was, shall we say, pleasantly surprised. Given the size of the Beach Club (compared to OKW) and the time of year, I just assumed we'd have to make use of the wait list.

So you see, it can be done.

We called exactly on the 7 month window and was able to get in at BWV the week before Christmas. We have never stayed there either so we are excited.

BCV is our home resort and it is lovely. You will like it! The walk to Epcot is very nice!

Make sure to go over to the Boardwalk in the evening sometime. Last year at Christmas they had entertainment there every evening.

We stayed at BW over Christmas three years ago and were very impressed with everything (except the crowds ). We will make sure to visit there again this year. There are very few places that can compare to the BW at Christmas.
