Our girls loved doing the archery with the CM's at Merida too. Such fun that they do that at her meet and greet.

Love the duck vs squirrel!

it was a riot! i guess we are entertained by ANYTHING..

I was surprised at the cost of the Lego Mindstorms so I looked them up online. They come with 600 pieces and 3 servo motors, a remote control and an “icon-based programming interface” among other things. All that electronics stuff is probably why they charge so much.

I loved the "Duck vs. Squirrel' story. We have both at our backyard bird feeders and the squirrel pretty much comes out the winner each time. For the most part though they coexist peacefully.

Still.. it's little itty bitty plastic pieces! which will at some point end up in my vacuum! i will not pay 400.00 for a lego set. I wonder if i can buy pieces separately? i am sure it would be a lot cheaper?
I did find it for a whole 50.00 cheaper. Yep a whopping 350.00!
Not.. Going... to happen..
I adore squirrels!! they crack me up with their craziness, I guess they remind me of our ferret?

Sorry I've been MIA - lots of cleaning going on at home. I swear I do not know how my house gets so dirty and messed up with only 2 of us living here...

wanna do mine now? i blame the dogs.. they dirty the house.. I think i am going to put dusting rags on their tails and feet.

I loved making the dress for Meg. I lied to her though, last May. I told her that her Mom wanted me to make a dress for her trip NEXT year. I needed to get her measurements.

It was AWESOME!!!!!! it worked she was so surprised by the dress, cannot even start to tell you how much she loved this Belle dress!!!! we will have it forever!!!

The BBB experience seemed to take FOREVER, but it was well worth it. Meg was beautiful. The boys were good sports because they got weapons! When we ran into them in Epcot the day before, they were having a sword fight in the shop in Italy??? I think. So I know they were thrilled to get swords of their own.

It did take forever didn't it? She was in seventh heaven over all of it!!!

Oh, and did you notice my D~ bag?????

Today is a lazy day.. I have caught up here. I'm literally wearing the most comfortable sweats to work. so i have time for a couple of updates!

First Thanksgiving! i LOVE Thanksgiving. I LOVE TO COOK! Wednesday was chopping, that disgusting bird ready and prepared- and getting the casseroles ready to just throw into the oven. Less on Thanksgiving!
This year we had

I honestly hate the smell- touch- feel- sight of a turkey. If someone else cooks it there is no problem. Since I AM the one dealing with it.. well.. it's just gross, the bag full of whatever is in there and i will NEVER look. then the NECK? don't get me started.
Apparently the family really enjoys my misery- gathering around to laugh hysterically. Until i turned around with the neck and chased them all through the house...

then Zack started to clean the potatoes for smashed.. As he was cleaning he made a little smilie on the towel:

After we had everything prepped it was time to read the Elf on the Shelf to bring back Elfie, and Snowflake. Totally original names right! we are all about originality in our house!

We started a new tradition this year. we will watch an amazing Christmas movie the night before Thanksgiving! This year was It's a wonderful life!!!

I was up BRIGHT and early Thanksgiving. Put the vial foul in the roaster oven thing made a cup of coffee and enjoyed the quiet.

for about 2 minutes.

the troops slowly made their way down still groggy, until they noticed Elfie has RETURNED to our humble abode! No Picture but he was on the TV!!!
They were ECSTATIC! hoooray!
Once they were up it was time for BREAKFAST! Guess what we HAD TO HAVE?!?





MICKEY WAFFLES!
MUST start holidays with Disney MAGIC! the waffle maker is extremely easy to use and clean! I LOVE IT!
No they didn't taste like Disney waffles yet they were still YUMMY! We ate while watching both Thanksgiving parades- Macy's and the Chicago one!!!

Then i noticed the time... It was ticking away FAST! I needed to get everything together!

Baked Mac and cheese

Stuffing
Cheeseball
Celery sticks with cream cheese

PHEW! I better get a move on! Meg was at the computer playing DJ for the day's music.

Matt wanted to help. He was the colander master chef.... Weapon of choice? Green Onion:


Matt made the cheeseball and smushed potatoes!


Zack made potato casserole- totally forgot to add the cheese and weren't up to par. oops!
Didn't matter-- everyone showed up about 2ish. my oven decided to stop working and NOTHING was done.

i have no idea what was going on. I should NEVER have allowed Tom near it. so i hiked up the temp FINALLY things started to bubble! IT WAS DONE! at about 3.. oops. The corn was never made... and there are no pictures of the table. we were supposed to eat at 2.. by 3 my family was ready to EAT THE TABLE!
We had more food then we all knew what to do with. No one missed corn.

In our food coma's we all sat around the table enjoy the company and laughing a lot. Good gracious i have a very LOUD family. Even with the food coma we are loud.
that is us.

Friday My Mom and I went the ever popular Black Friday shopping. I will NOT support shopping on Thanksgiving. I truly believe people need to be home with their families! Mom picked me up at 5am off we went to a very empty Southlake mall. Target was great with their 40% off clothes. Toys R Us was nothing. Honestly nothing really was a big deal. Yet i still spent a TON of money.
Mom- DONE
Stepdad DONE
Tom DONE
Dogs DONE
Stevie DONE
Meg has a ton of stuff
Zack wants expensive stuff i did get a few thing
Matt still no list. got a few things i think he will want.
Stevie has a new cage and the dogs have a new bed. Which they did get that day. NOT waiting until Christmas.
Stevie's cage is about 3 feet high and 2X2! it's huge! and Yes he falls from the third level.
Speaking of animals.
Yesterday everyone was hanging out including stevie who decided Lex was his target of the night:

Unsuspecting sleeping Lex was terrorized by a nuisance named Stevie. so he ran away: ( i cannot wait to get new couches!!!)


Logan thought it was really funny


but then felt sorry for his bigger brother


Now i have to tell you of my proud Mommy moment.
Since the elf has been out. the kids of course are on their BEST behavior! Matt came up to me on Sunday and asked if he can go shopping. For his Brother and sister he wants to buy them Christmas presents!!! AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW how sweet is THAT??? i melted. I took him shopping yesterday and he spend his own money getting small things for Meg and Zack!!! we came home he wrapped them with wrapping paper he picked out for them too!!! i am SO PROUD OF HIM!
Today Meg asked to go shopping with her money.. I like this idea. Zack hasn't asked to do a THING.... hopefully it will get to his thick skull and the Christmas giving bug will bite soon.

Another proud Moment: My nephew's high school football team went to state! They had a PERFECT season! and it was televised!!! I am SO HAPPY as he had a TON of coverage!!! they talked about him a lot too!!!!
Unfortunately they did lose 42 to 21 i think. but was still so AWESOME to watch!!!

I did try to do some cyber monday shopping.

the deals sucked. i think i bought 2 things. and was hit hard on the sales tax. oh well... I will keep chipping away!!!

I think i have BORED you enough with my real life crazies. So lets get on with a Disney update shall we?!?!

we found a spot by the Launching Pad and popped a squat. realized... Tom had the ponchos.

we were going to be late for our next FP+
I did NOT want Meg wet!!! In her BEAUTIFUL Dress? All dolled up? HECK NO!!!!
it's rain in Florida! it moves fast right? downpours then moves on....

IT MOVES ON... DAMN IT MOVE ON RAIN!!! I have a FP+ to get to!

I can't get a hold of Tom as i don't have my phone. No ponchos!!!!!! FP is on the otherside of the dang park!!! what to do.

we hung out until the last moment, when it was do or die. Well we don't say DIE!
as soon as we started our way over to the next FP+ Disney magic happened yet again! The rain turned into a slight drizzle!!!

We needed to RUN to our next FP+!!!

as you can see this was a FP we did NOT want to miss!

Tom is still missing! He knew what time our FP+ was for Anna and Elsa we looked for him to see if he had made it. Still nothing. Figured we would go back to Tomorrowland in hopes we would find each other! so off we went!

Lo and Behold WE FOUND HIM!!!! He was sitting right by tomorrowland terrace and monsters! YAY!!!!

We had ONE more surprise for the kids and their birthday! and there was something i wanted for them!! So off i went in search for it. Meg wanted to come with. Fine by me!

I love Anna!!! Elsa is pretty, but Anna is ADORABLE. I had a different one for my meet & greet, but she too was also very very chatty and in character, and just a blast to. So much fun!
