Moussaoui Gets Life

Normally I like to fry people when theyre bad.... Im very pro death penalty.

HOWEVER - this guy wanted to die. Too easy for him. He'd be considered a hero - forget that....

I hope he makes lots of "friends" (named Bubba)
Exactly what I was thinkin!

Even though he may have minimul contact with other prisoners-which sucks-in prison, anything is possible, and may he meet someone who thinks he has a pretty mouth :rotfl: and he will be someone's toy until ......... they got to Jeffrey Dahmer didn't they?

I am SO glad they gave him what they did...death is to good for him because that would make him a martyr and that is NOT what we should make him! Now he can rot in there and hopefully some other prisoner will get him and make him his girlfriend before they end up beating him to death...at least he will die at the hands of some other dirtbag and not the government!

I wanted him dead for one reason. The terrorist look at things differently that we do. What did Bin Laden say... Americans love life, we love death. That is the difference between us. I believe life in prison will be rationalized by these dirt bags as weakness. A weak enemy is one you will try and strike at again.

They love death, because in dying for their cause, they become martyrs for others to emulate. Dying is the ultimate sacrifice for what they believe in. By giving him a life sentence, we are taking away his most precious way of proving his allegiance to his cause. We are also taking away the ability for other terrorists to hold him up as an example of how evil the U.S. is... they cannot say (in this one case, anyway) that we fault them for killing, but then do it ourselves.

This jury clearly realized that the old saying "An eye for an eye makes everyone blind." is very true. What a difficult decision they had to make. I'm glad they reasoned it out very carefully. They gave him a just punishment and kept him from realizing his dreams of martyrdom.

I'd have voted life. Let him get thrown in jail with a bunch of American prisoners and American guards.

He'll suffer a much more painful death than a shot of potassium chloride.

IMHO, he deserves to.

I'm glad he got life in prison. To die would be too easy for him. He should suffer for the rest of his life in there. I do think that he will end up getting killed while in prison though. I can't imagine that there would be very many cell mates not wanting to harm him.

At least this way he doesn't get the tiresome automatic appeals that accompany death sentences.

how do people get so mean?
By having thousands of their countrymen murdered.

I applaud your kindness and compassion, and wish I felt the same. But I don't. If it were up to me, they could just drop him off in some corner bar in New York City. And let the husbands and fathers who lost wives and children know where he'd be. That'd be my punishment.

if I were god I'd make him do 3,000,000 years of community service!!

At the meat packing plant where they handle only pigs. And his coworkers would be women. Perpetually stuck at that "time of the month".

He will die, and he will suffer in prison for some period of time. Sounds like justice to me.

I agree with many of the other posters. I was relieved to hear the verdict of life in prison. He is evil and death only makes him a hero.
I feel that if we put terrorists to death we lower ourselves.

I hope they put him alone in a small 7X7 cell with 15 minutes of excersise daily. No exposure to any other person and guards who won't talk to him. I hope he lives like this for a very very very long time. Death is too good for him. I hope he ts in jail and then I hope he rots in H E L L !!!!
