Mousesaver has reported a new discount code for MYW Package plus dining for travel 4/15-5/23/07. We are going to WL during this time frame. Our trip is already paid for but I was thinking of asking our travel agent to request the discount. We don't normally use a travel agent but had to for this trip because it included a gift certificate (Am I making any sense?). I am not at all pleased with the travel agents service or abilities as I had to beg her to request the free park hopper upgrade. Do you think asking her to request the discount is reasonable and do you think Disney will honor the request?

Are you sure it is for a MYW Package plus dining for 4/15-5/23? I thought is was room only discount....could you link to the site..Thank You,

I would definitely ask your TA ....that's their job! My TA called me as soon as she heard about the free park hopper and water fun passes for our travel period in May to see if we wanted to try to get this new deal. I didn't even know about it yet!

I just spoke to the TA. She said that Disney will only let you use one code with each ressie. We already have the free PH upgrade so no go on the additional codes. She also said that there are not any rooms available at the WL using the codes.

This package gives between 15 and 25% off the room only portion of your package... depending on what level of resort you book. The 25% is for certain deluxes only.

If you have a MYW package or a MYW package + dining.. with this new offer you're paying standard rates for the tickets or dining add-ons.

It is NOT a free dining package.

To the previous poster - your TA is right.. only one code can be used per reservation. HOWEVER ... if you wished.. you could cancel your existing reservation.. and create a new one with the new codes. You would need to figure out in advance what resorts have availability for the NEW code.

You might want to find out what deluxes have rooms avail under this package, cause you would likely save considerably more with this package at a deluxe than the ticket upgrades offer you currently have. Do keep in mind that if your trip is less than 45 days away there may be cancellation or 'change' penalties that might affect your ability to take advantage of this offer.

Just because they no longer have rooms for the OLD code.. doesn't mean they don't have rooms available under the new code. The room availabilities are separate. I"m sure your TA knows that... or at least I hope he/she would.

CanadianGuy.......New to the boards....How you liking these gas prices in the Maritimes!!!??? Anyway... I just called my travel agent and left her a message to check into this savings code...is this all I need to do? I really hope I didn't just make a fool of myself!!! This would be a great savings. And am I correct in assuming that it applies to the POFQ? We are going for our trip of a lifetime from the 6th of May to the 20th. I sure hope I can take advantage of this!!! I found a link on another board that they said would tell you the price/availability etc. but it would not work with the dining ...it was room only. Please let me know if I am doing this right as I have yet to save any $$ on this trip !!!

Yes. Call your TA and ask them. That oughta do it.

You could call the reservations center directly and price out your vacation with the code posted on the various sites. That would give you some idea of what to expect from your TA. If your TA can't achieve those savings, bring to their attention that you could by calling directly and I bet they'll figure it out in a hurry.

Same warning applies - there are change fees that kick in at 45 days prior to your vacation and you are within that window -- so you might want to factor that in to see if the savings benefit you after all is accounted for...

Hey! Hey! Hey! I had to switch to POR but I saved $410.00 USD on my reservation and ditto for my parents.......these boards are awesome!!! : Please reassure me about POR....I haven't done any research for this resort(yet) all my research was at POFQ!!!!

I just called and I wasn't able to use it to get a discount on my vacation package. The CM said it wasn't available for my dates at POR but got the FW cabins. I said no thanks I don't want to change my vacation at all. I was just looking for a discount on what I have already. These codes can really be tricky things.

Sorry Kim.... the codes are tricky aren't they...and they seem to go quite quickly.....I don't quite understand all the in's and out's but maybe something else will come up. It is WDW!!!
