I have only ever bought through DisneyStore.com or in parks but I felt like I have read about mousepinsonline.com for the last few years so I decided to take a chance and order a 25 pin grabbag today along with a few of the cute bottle holder lanyards. Now I am second guessing myself...how can I ensure they are authentic pins that can be traded????
TIA for any experience you have and sharing...

I've used MPO in the past but not for years now. I have received scrappers from them but I have also received authentic pins from them. I just kept the scrappers and didn't trade them. They also send Pro Pins which are tradeable with CM's but most other guests won't take them in trade. I like Pro Pins but not everyone does. You can search your pins on pinpics .com that site will have pictures of the pins and information from other traders regarding possible scrappers.
You can also follow the link in my signature to the collector's board, where we have a large thread with information on eBay and scrappers.

We've bought pins from mousepinsonline many times and always been very happy with the pins and the customer service.

Mousepins online are AWESOME!! I have bought many times and am completely happy. NEVER received scrappers!!!!! They even state if you got a bad one they will replace it. Great to work with fast shipping. LOOOOOVE them. Highly recommend them. We buy for traders but often get hidden mickey pins that the kids want to keep. Put their name in the dis search and you will see lots of happy customers. And me recommending them multiple times. (I have no connection, just a very happy customer)

I have also purchased from them multiple times and received very nice pins. One time, my package was one pin short. I counted three times just to be sure. I let them know and they immediately mailed another pin to me. Excellent customer service.

What's a "scrapper"? Im assuming that means it is a fake pin? I recently ordered a 50 ct grab bag from a seller on ebay because my kids decided they wanted to start pin trading this year. (They are doing chores to earn these over the summer!) How can I tell if they are all legit? The listing guaranteed they were all tradable. Thanks so much!

Follow the link in my signature for a thread about eBay and pins. You can find some good sellers there, also some not so good. Also, on the Collector's Board is a list of ways to tell if you have good or possible scrapper pins. For me, a red flag is a seller who says they are tradeable, technically even scrappers are tradeable.
