ok, let's start from the beginning.
For those not familiar with mouse's story, the readers digest version is that her daughter got an ip ban from the big white glove. I, and many others, saw nothing to warrant that at all, but i digress. Rather than, to use her words "mommy get around the rules" she decided to teach her family that sometimes rules are rules and there are consequences. I cannot TELL you how much I commend her for that.
So, being that we are both members of the dis, and also another board called mouseplanet, she sought me out to be the "executor of her last will and testament". See mouse could still get in, just not from home. So all of her wealth of goodies from the park, and her ENOURMOUS collection of stuff was not lost at all.
She enlisted me to dish out the wealth so to speak, among the dis members, and boy was that fun.
That was the birth of the "what do you really want" thread. But in doing that, and in giving away the things she gave me to give away, i saw more people that wanted things i just didnt have, nor did she. So trades were made, things wre bought, mules were created, to make as many people happy as possible.
Well after the light race game, which got rid of the remnants of funiture and various things, it is just about all gone.
We had decided not to put all this out there right away as we did not want people saying "oh she is leaving vmk, can i have this, can i have that?". Rather, we wanted just peoples general wishes, and if we could fulfill them, then we did. If we couldnt, we tried to make it happen anyway.
I wanted to set the record straight. I feel like the general back in the camp who gets all the glory while the soldiers on the line are the ones fighting. I was handed the ball, i just ran with it.
It was not an easy decision for mouse to leave i am sure, and she is truly missed that is a fact. But so many people were made happy because of what she has done, and that is a good thing. There arent too many people on the board that didnt recieve something from her through me, or through another dis-er who "passed it on".
It is truly amazing to see all the giving that has gone on here in the last month or so, by many many people. And it just keeps going.
Some people have had issues with the whole mule thing, and stockpiling credits and the like. But in the last 2 days using the light game i managed to give away over 40,000 credits in master gracey and bride pins that i bought from creating some mules. Not looking for a pat on the back or anything like that. Just pointing out that despite what you may not agree with, there is good in people.
And that is no more evident than here on the dis. You are all good people, and evryone tries to help everyone.
Mousepartygrl helped more people than we can count. And all the thanks and so on that came my way, need to be redirected now that the work is done.

I just hope that Mouse didnt also receieve anything along those lines, in terms of pm's.
I can't help but wonder now if the Teleportation pin that I so longed for, and was gifted, once belonged to you.
