Has anyone been to the store in Kissimmee? What was the selection like? Do they have the same stuff as they web site? I am looking for Disney themed stuff - mostly related to Epcot and the country Pavillions. Thanks.

i printed out the directions from the poly to there and had all good intentions of going last year while on vacation, but just never made it. and i really wanted to go.
maybe next year! let us know if you do go how it is!

I'll be there 2 weeks from today and will report my findings:).

Kim, let us know if it will be worth taking a taxi over to check things out. :goodvibes

I have been there with some friends and we really liked the store. Just like online they have tons of disney stuff but they have other stuff as well. It's not a huge store but they do carry a lot. The employee's were also really nice :thumbsup2

I'm not sure it's worth using a cab - but if you have a car, it's a great afternoon break! And there's a Dairy Queen right on the way!

One thing to beware, much of the stuff isn't priced. I just watched while she was ringing it up and had her pull out the one or two things I wasn't willing to pay *that* much for.

One great thing, when they found out I was on vacation, the wrapped everything with a cardboard piece under and over it, then shrinkwrapped the whole thing to help me get it home safeuly.

The selection isn't that different from the online. Actually, it's their warehouse where they store everything, so that fellow shopper may actually be an employee hunting the shelves to fill an on-line order!

I'll be going on the 13th. If any of you SDVers want to give me a cell #, I can call you with a reivew so you don't have to wait until the Saturday morning breakfast:).

We can drive over if it is open when I am there. They are open from 9am-8pm on Friday and 10am-6pm on Saturday. We can plan to take a fieldtrip during the weekend if you want. I have a Ford Focus so 4 people can join me but it may be a tight fit in the back seat.

I went to Mouse Memories in March 06. :cool1: Loved it!
Like PP said, they have their online items and others, too!
They were SO nice! Offered to print out my wish list & help me find it, too!!

I hope to go again before the SDV - not sure when - depends on the weather. Planning on Wednesday (the 20th?) at this point.

I visited last October. Found everyone really helpful. Like was said before the only negative thing was the fact that things aren't priced, I spent less than I thought I would because of this!

Thanks everyone!
I look forward to going - our itinerary is pretty jammed packed so not sure if I can squeeze in a visit.
Their web site has detailed directions from WDW and Universal. I believe it is in Kissimee (I know that is spelled wrong...)
If I do go, will give an update...

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Mousememories....we go every time we are at WDW. It think it would be very expensive by cab....it is about 1/2 hour away on the 192. They have TONS of Disney stuff, including stuff for just about every country at World Showcase. If you want to see what they have, check out their website www.mousememories.com

I was given a hint from the staff....now before we head to WDW I go to their website and log into my account and create a wish list before I go of all the things I am looking for and I either print off my wish list or I give the staff my password and they will print out my wish list and collect all my goodies...since they know where everything is they can collect it all in a very short time and you will know the prices of the items ahead of time.

The staff at the warehouse is really great and very friendly and yes...they pack their products fantastically....I don't dare opening it until we get home because I know I will never get it as "compacted" as they manage to!!!! We were there this past January and I can't wait to go back when we are at WDW in 4 short weeks!!!!!!

I'm hoping this trip to also visit the Scrap Your Trip's warehouse...which is located in Orlando!!!!

It's a warehouse, so stuff isn't priced, but since we don't have an LSS here, I'm like a kid in a candy store at MouseMemories - a kid with an income! WOO HOO! I especially like the Zahara or Zatara (I forget which) papers (designer theme park papers), and the textured cardstock that comes in a 'suite' of colors that coordinate, which of course is not theme park specific but I go through a ton of it! They also have tons of college, sports and faith based stuff.

One other thing about it being a warehouse - it's not set up with enticing displays, but rather for efficient order pulling. I buy less stuff on impulse and more stuff that I actually had on my list, if that makes sense.

I rented a car for a day and grouped all my off property shopping - MouseMemories, a couple more scrap stores, the LBV shops. It worked out to less than $40 for 24 hours, and I would think taxi fare would be about 40 from property, since it's about as far to MouseMemories as to the airport.

Since it is south on 192 I would guess it is closer to Disney.
