I have read several reviews on the Neverland Club, but has anyone used the Mouseketeer Club in the Contemporary? I would like to have a special dinner with my husband at the California Grill one night, and I feel better leaving my dd's (5 and 7) at the same resort. I would appreciate any info (good and bad) Thanks!

DSs 4 and 6yo went to the MC at the Contemporary in Feb. They loved it, and we had a difficult time getting them to leave when we picked them up. The room was not large but it had toys, a tv and vcr and lots of Disney videos, computers, paper and crayons, etc. DSs said that the CMs played games with them the whole time. There were 3 CMs plus a CM earning his ears, and only 4 kids that night (both were near DSs' age). When we checked them in, we selected their dinners from a kids' menu (all the standard kids' menu items). We gave them our cell phone number, and the CM asked where we would be. We told him at the Calif. Grill, and he said "oh, in that case, we'll just call [hostess on duty] if we need you." When we went upstairs for dinner, we told the hostess that our kids were at MC, and she said "[name of CM, which I have forgotten] is great with kids. Relax and enjoy your dinner because your kids are having lots of fun". It was a great dinner. We were seated next to a family with 2 kids, I just kept thinking, those kids don't look like they are having much fun, and neither do the parents dealing with them. Then, I relaxed and took another sip of my wine... ;)

This question was on my list of things to ask on DIS before we go since I think we will be staying at CR on our next trip. padams, you make it sound great! Any one else have experience?

Oh and thanks cinderellasmom, for asking!:p :p :p

Hi there,
My DS went to the Mouseketeer
Club on our last trip. He had just
turned 5. We dropped him off and
headed to the Poly for some
dinner. His little sister was very
upset that she had to stay with
Mom and Dad. She was only 2
at the time.
He tells us he had a super time.
Our trip was in January so for a
little while he was the only kid
there. He played computer games
with the CM. Then the CM took
him to the Food Court to get his
dinner. I think he only did that because
our son was the only one there.
After that another little
girl came and they played together
until we came to get our son.
Our kids love any and all kids
clubs. They love to make new
friends and play with the "different"
toys or video games that they
may find.
Our DD will be 4 in october and
keeps reminding Daddy that she
can then go in the kid clubs at
Disney. He thinks I keep putting
her up to it.:jester:
