Just what is to be expected from housekeeping? Should they sweep the floors every day, change the bedding every day, of course clean towels every day, anything else? If all they do is put clean towels out and make the bed with the same sheets, what would that take, 10 minutes. Is that worth a 5 dollar a day tip? Just wondering.

I expect the same thing i expect at any other hotel. They make the bed (I don't expect them to change the sheets each day, I don't change my sheets at home each day!), tidy things up, empty the trash, clean up the bathroom, put out new towels, clean the coffee pot and leave new coffee, etc.

It's up to you what you feel is a fair tip... many don't tip at all and are fine with that, others feel that tipping housekeeping at ANY hotel is the right thing to do.

I try to treat all housekeepers the same way, and have the same expectations of housekeepers everywhere. I think often (not speaking to you, BTW) that people have these ridiculous expectations for the housekeepers at Disney hotels just because it's Disney. They often go above and beyond, but many times they don't, and shouldn't be expected to.
