A while back we watched an episode on the travel channel about the Grand Floridian. When the guest returned to her room, some of her park purchases that she had left in her room were posed in little vignettes (ex. Pluto was playing with a strand of toilet paper and Minnie was reading a book.) Is this something that is done in all the hotels or just the deluxe resorts?? My DD3 saw this and got very excited... so did I:yay: Thanks for any reponses in advance:flower3:

A few years ago we stayed in Port Orleans French Quarter and we had THE BEST Mousekeeper!! Everyday when we got home there was something different going on in the room..lol...she even decorated our window with toys( some that we brought and some that we bought while in WDW) and balloon one day!

Thanks, Ariel. I am sure that we won't be leaving home without all of her princess dolls, so I will keep my fingers crossed that we have a great mousekeeper like yours.

I've had it done more in the past than now. I think Disney is stretch to the limit with their crew, that unfortunately most have just enough time to clean. some times you will get a really fantastic housekeeper though.

We got back yesterday from ASM and I did see some cute windows done up. I saw a really cute princess window. The curtain was knotted loosely in the middle and the princess dress was hanging on the knot. The accessories were on the windowsill. It looked very cute.

We didn't actually have any done for us, but there has been plenty of talk of towel animals here and on other sites. Our Mousekeeper didn't even finish tucking in the sheets when she made the beds and the only time the kids stuffed animals were on the bed when we came back, they were in a pile under a pillow! Needless to say, I wasn't very happy with the service we received, and I almost felt like I shouldn't leave a tip(but I did). I NEVER do that, but seriously the sheets were hanging out between the mattress and boxspring, and the first day the bedframe was pulled away from the wall, which left a sharp point sticking out and my DD4 bashed her knee off of it, left a small puncture and a very colorful bruise.

I hope you have better luck than we did. But then I think our trip was jinxed right from the day we booked it! Have a great time!

We were out there last November and stayed at the Carribean Beach and our mousekeeper did up towels and our window almost everyday. She was always placing sunglasses on the towel animals and had our Pal Mickey reading a book one day. We left her a nice tip when we saw her. Previous year at Animal Kingdom Lodge, we never got it.

We have been twice and have never had anything done in our room...but we always hope that maybe the next trip!

In the FW cabins, we had a wonderful mousekeeper. She built an elephant out of towels and pillows and the kids' stuffed animals rode it on the bed. DD's My Little Ponies were in different outfits and left in vignettes on the windowsill.
DD's ancient, well-loved rabbit was reading a book to the littler ones one day, including several towel bunnies.

She always left coloring pages and stickers. Everyday we had LOTS of towel animals to come home to. We loved coming 'home!' :cloud9:
Oh, and our cabin was REALLY clean too!
