Mousekeeping - Inspired by another thread

I've been reading a lot lately about mousekeeping and issues that crop up at the Disney resorts. We've never had a major issue, but I'm curious if the "mousekeepers" assigned to the various levels of resort (Deluxe, Mod, Value), are just that (Deluxe Mousekeeping, Moderate Mousekeeping, Value Mousekeeping). I know that all the resorts pride themselves on being clean, but I've noticed a lot more complaints at the Mods and Values vs. the Deluxe. Anyone shed some light on this???

We stay at the value resorts and when we first went in 2003, mousekeeping would always leave us animals made out of towels and do fun things with DS's stuffed animals. We've gone 2 times since then (2005 and 2006) and haven't gotten anything like that. The room was cleaned, but none of the fun extras. It was very disappointing.
