Mousekeeping at DVC

DH and I are currently considering renting points at VWL for our trip this upcoming fall. I want to make sure I have all the facts before I talk him into it. From what I understand there is no daily mousekeeping like in the hotels, but we can request daily towel and trash service. Is there an extra fee for this? What about getting linens changed on the beds? I have so many questions and you all seem like the experts. Thanks.

If you are staying less than 8 nights, you will get Trash & Towel on the 4th day. This means emptying the trash and providing fresh towels (as well as replenshing assorted other items). If you run out of toilet paper, Kleenex, etc. you can always request more. Coffee and clothes detergent are only replenished on T&T. If you are staying 8 nights or more, on the 4th day you'll get a complete cleaning and then T&T on day 8.

You have several options for additional service. You can purchase a Towel Package -- 4 of everything and a bath mat -- for $6.00. You can pay for daily T&T for $10 per day. A full cleaning is $25-$60 per day based on the size of the accomodation. Beds are only changed/made during a full cleaning.
