Mousefest events

Because I am such an overplanner, and I purchased my airline ticket this morning, I have this overwhelming urge to PLAN!

So...what Mousefest related meets is everyone planning to attend? (aside from the DIS TSM meet)

I know i'm interested in the Mega Mouse Meet (registered officially for MF this morning!), but I can't decide what else!


(and i'm still on board for a DATW meet for Friday night if everyone else is!)

I've got the KTTK tour Saturday morning, but I'm going to try to sneak over to BC/YC for the MMM for a bit when I'm done with that. Maybe hit Beaches & Cream for a No Way Jose and then walk over to MGM.

I'm getting in around 2pm on Fri, so I've got to figure out what I'm doing on Friday afternoon/evening. DATW sounds like it might be good

ETA: Whoops, just checked the MF schedule. Looks like MMM will be over by time I finish my tour. Oh, well

Oooh...have fun on the tour! I'm probably not going to get over to MK or AK on this quick trip. I'll stick to Epcot and MGM/DHS for my time there. I may make it to Downtown Disney, but that remains to be seen...lol

I know there were a few who had expressed an interest in DATW or EATW...whichever you prefer...I guess we just need to figure out where and when!

12/10 Open, may hit the Wine Bar in Orlando.

12/11 Breakfast with DISers at Boatwrights 9 a.m....not listed in MF
12p-1p MF101, then 1p-2p MF kickoff reception, then poss. 3p-4p Mike Scopa's DoleWhipMeet at Aloha Isle, and 8p-? the Bob Jackson Meet at the ScatCat Lounge.

12/12 I'm open...may go to the Podfest meet at DHS in the afternoon, unless I can get a whole bunch of people to DATW with me.....

12/13 10am-1pm MMM, 1:30p Stupid Judy meet, maybe the 3pm LTAD's E/DATW meet, 7pm Fantasmic Dessert Party meet, then 9:30pm the DIS MANIA MEET!!!!

12/14 10:30 a.m. Gospel Brunch at HOB, all by my onesies, unless someone wants to buy a ticket and join me!

I was also considering the Fantasmic Dessert party. I just want to be sure that after it is over that the Disney Cast Members allow us to go back into the park. I seem to recall there is another exit from Fantasmic that dumps you outside the park.

Hmm, I haven't gotten very far in my planning yet. I get in around 7 pm on Friday, so I'm not sure I'll get anywhere, but I do have my own car so that might prompt me to head out. I'd love to DATW/EATW, but I just don't think I'm going to make it that night.

Saturday, MMM meet, then Beaches & Cream to eat, then off to DHS until the DIS Meet. Might try to get in to the dessert meet too, not sure yet.

Monday - ?

Probably no more MF events, this is supposed to be a trip for me to scope out Christmas decorations, but we'll see how it goes.

I registered for MF, but I don't know if I'll actually be able to make it to any events. If I do, it will be Friday afternoon/evening. The Podfest might be cool...

How long is the Gospel Brunch? My flight doesn't leave until 3:45pm...i'll need time to get to the airport and probably return my rental car. Would I have time?

I was thinking about doing DHS on Friday too. At least until it was time for a DATW meet! What time would we need to start a DATW meet???

I think Gospel Brunch is under 2 hours. They usually have one at 10:30, and one at 1pm. I had originally booked the 1pm one, but they called me to tell me that one had been cancelled, so I have to suck it up and get up earlier to go to the morning one. After the partying Saturday night, I was kind of hoping to sleep in Sunday morning...oh, well.

I would have tried to reserve a table for 20 or so...but they require prepayment, and it's nonrefundable, so if you want to join me, you'll have to make your own reservations. Maybe we can tie them in together, though...

Friday -
Star Tours Meet 1 - 2
Podfest 4 - 5
After that I'm open for a DATW or EATW meet. Heck - if we need to schedule it sooner I can always skip the Podfest thingy.

Saturday -
Mega Mouse Meet 10 - 1
Fantasmic! Dessert Party 7:30 - 9:30
DIS/DU TSM Dessert Party 9:30 - 11:30

You know, if we can stagger that far, I suppose we could start DATW around 2:30, and if we're in the mood, trek back over to DHS for the podfest, then finish the DATW after. It's not THAT long of a walk, and we can take boats...

Anyone up for a "drink around the Swan and Dolphin" on Thursday night? That is our arrival night so we are thinking we will be ready to do something around 9pm. Other than that, we are doing MVMCP on Friday night, hidden mickeys Sat morning, mega meet, and the DISMania. We leave midday Sunday, so not sure about anything that day yet.

I will be arriving in Orlando around 9:30-9:45am on Friday...hopefully at the Dolphin by noon at the absolute latest. So i'd be up for a 2:30pm start at DATW! Maybe it would do us good to start that early, break to head over for that meet at DHS, and then go back to finish our DATW. Kind of a sober-up session...lol

OK, given my schedule already (crazy over kill) I won't be able to get to DATW until Friday evening. After the Osborne meet. I could be the sober voice of reason (Don't drink a lot). So what direction do you plan to go, start in Canada or Mexico? If I had someone's cell #, I could call you when I get to Epcot. If you would be able to hear/answer the phone at that point

I think that's a good idea...those who are comfortable doing so, should exchange cellphone #'s when we get closer to the event.
