Mousefest events

OK, given my schedule already (crazy over kill) I won't be able to get to DATW until Friday evening. After the Osborne meet. I could be the sober voice of reason (Don't drink a lot). So what direction do you plan to go, start in Canada or Mexico? If I had someone's cell #, I could call you when I get to Epcot. If you would be able to hear/answer the phone at that point :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Kim

I think that's a good idea...those who are comfortable doing so, should exchange cellphone #'s when we get closer to the event.

I'd love to do this!

ADP and I have already swapped cell phones #'s. :) I don't mind swapping numbers with others at all! Gives me a chance to get you programmed into my iPhone so I know who the heck is calling me...:rotfl:

So it's sounding like DATW will be on Friday. Wooo!

Does anyone know if the DIS Unplugged Team will be at that Podfest over at DHS? I had thought about attending, but that's the only podcast I listen to. So if they aren't there, it's not critical for me to go to...but i'd happily tag along with others if they are! :)

I'm not sure about that either, I'd kind of like to attend Podfest as well. Just in case the Unplugged Team is there and I'm sure I'll see some other friends there as well.

I like Friday night after the Podfest event at DHS. That would be around 5:30 to 9:00. We could walk around World Showcase eat and drink and then watch Illuminations. After Illuminations we could even leave EPCOT and go to one of the resorts for more spirits. We could pick a meeting place either Canada or Mexico and start our walk.

If anyone wants to exchange cell phone numbers just send me a PM.

Since I won't get to my hotel much before 8 pm (and that might be pushing it), I'm going to miss DATW, but if you guys continued at a resort I'd love to meet up.

Would love to meet up with people for a drink so just let me know who to give my cell # to.

I am up for whatever the "gang" plans - count me in. :woohoo:

Yey, glad this is still going ahead :thumbsup2
We're up for a drink or two - we're maybe going to the Merry Member Mixer and we have an ADR at CR 7.05pm on the Fri, we're gonna be in Epcot on Thurs too but no meal booked - so will wait and see what the plans are and look out for you guys at those times

Hope everyone is planned and ready to go ;)

I'm pretty much up for whatever...

I'm going to stick to the Epcot resort area for my short time there. I'm on the fence about the Gospel Brunch at HoB. It sounds awesome, but i'm not sure yet.

I won't be arriving into Orlando until about 10:00am Friday morning and I'll be leaving on Sunday with a flight at 3:00pm. It looks like my activities will be primarily at the Studios and Epcot as well. I'm not sure yet what I will be doing on Sunday. I don't see any Mousefest events that I want to get up early for. Maybe I will just sleep in and then have a nice lunch at the resort before having to hop on the Magical Express bus back to the airport.

This little weekend trip to Mousefest is shaping up to be a really fun time!

Friday
WDW Today's 500th Episode Celebration DHS
Podfest 2008 DHS
Our own DATW

Saturday
Mega Mouse meet
Fantasmic dessert party DHS (maybe)
Dismania (of course)

Sounds like most are aiming for Epcot.
We arrive on the 11th of dec.
Don't have a time yet, as DH is in charge of booking the air.
We have a room at Port Orlens Riverside for the week.
Oh and for your information DH on the boards is 3guysandagal:cool1:

That's cool Tonya. Thanks for passing that along.

What to do? :confused3 What to do?

I am going to the Bob Jackson Meet at the River Roost Lounge. But I hope it is not TOO crowded! I am going to the Animal Kingdom on Friday. I may use the Mousefest schedule to stay AWAY from the crowds! Epcot's NeverLands on Saturday is most interesting since it is something that is not usually offered in the park. And of course, the Dismania Toy Story Mania Meet! I especially want to go to Mega Mousefest so I can put a face to the podcasts I listen to.

I am not a frequent visitor, so I am looking for the fine balance between having fun on rides and attractions and going to meets.

I am really looking forward to Mousefest!
:yay:

Oh, that's cool! I'm not an AP holder, but I may have to stash a pair of 3D glasses in my bag. Somewhere, I also have a pair that puts little holograms around the lights when you look through them... I'll have to see if I can find them.

Also - OT: I got my DME tags today! I can get used to this last minute booking stuff. Book on Sunday, get DME tags the next Monday! No long, drawn out countdowns! Of course, I'm now thinking of bagging DME & just taxiing it....we'll see what I feel like doing once I get to the airport. (yeah, another perk - doing whatever the heck I feel like!)

Hmmm....I think this is going to interfere with our newly-announced DATW with Tracy Meet, to begin right after MMM and end around the time I have to start hauling my butt in the direction of DHS for DISMania et. al.

I saw the conflict and now I don't know what to do. :confused3 Oh decisions, decisions!!!! Maybe the AP event will fill up before I can sign up and that way the decision is made for me. Nothing like being passive to see what you do.

:yay:

I don't think you will find a difference in the crowds based on the MF schedule. Most of the MF events don't even involve attractions.

I was thinking about doing the NeverLands Tour also. The hidden Mickey tours are interesting also.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: LOL just look thru my eyes and you will get holograms all the time :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I don't need extra glasses to see holograms, my eyes are so messed up that i've holograms all the time.......
