Has anyone booked their Disney vacation with mouseearsvacations.com? I currently have my vacation booked directly with Disney. But, then I found out that mouseearsvacations.com will automatically apply any discounts or codes if and when they are released, so I do not have to search for them. I called Disney and they said that they would not do that. Just want to know if anyone has had any bad experiences with them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe that MouseEars charges some fees:

"n addition to Disney's, or other supplier fees, we will charge an agency cancellation fee of $25 per person ($50 cap) per land package or cruise reservation. For hotel only there is a $25 flat fee to cover administration costs. This fee will be billed separately before the cancellation is processed."

I personally recommend using either Dream Come True Vacations or Dreams Unlimited Travel - neither of them charge any extra fees - and they both apply discounts for you when they are released.

As long as YOU booked your reservation with Disney (as opposed to another travel agent having done it for you), you can transfer your reservation. Just request a quote, and put in the notes that you already have a reservation and would like it transferred to Dreams.

I am using Mouse Ear Vacations for my current trip in April, but plan to have Dreams Unlimited handle my ressie in December. I don't like the cancellation penalty with MEV, and I've had some frightening moments with my agent, particularly when the new AP rates came out.

All is resolved, but I think I'll feel better after having read so many great things about DU on these boards.

I used MEV for our December '04 trip and couldn't have been happier with the service we received. My agent, Annette, was very responsive to all my questions and needs. She took care of all my PS arrangements and we got everything we wanted including CRT and PSB on our first choice of days and times. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to anyone.
