me too!!!!! I also have a blue rose tattoo! I just love the fact that blue roses don't actually exist, despite people trying for years to grow them. Its such a shame because blue roses are just the nicest :goodvibes:

The sad thing is someone stole my sisters DS lite & BIL Ipod from the hospital room & threw all the new babies clothes out of the case:mad:

Just out of randomness, I saw a little article about this in the News Of The World today. I read it and was like, DS, Ipod, New Baby, Kent, hmmmmmmmm........... knew I'd read it somewhere else!

Yes they were in the local paper but didn't know they were going to be in the NOTW:lmao: A health magazine has said they want the story too. My sister is glad as it highlights what could happen & it could be a baby next time, especially when the security are now trying to say nothing was reported to them:confused3 Also the hospital only have 2 security guards on at night for the whole hospital including the A&E department.

Sorry not been around, the laptop charger has broke but hopefully ill be back by the end of the week. look forward to catching up on all the goss :) xxxx

That is just wrong, 2 security guards in at night, thats really bad especially in A&E at night, I hope theres more on weekends!

On a lighter note, I finished my first day of work a couple of hours ago! I'm now really tired, but will be going back tomorrow!

We have just spent a wonderful weekend in Cambridge for DSs graduation. The weather was glorious and it was a great experience. I'll try and post a photo later

We are on the countdown to our holiday with a sitter set up for the troops hamster.
Went to clean the cage and add a few nice treats for his last week at home and the little fella is stiff as a board :sad2:
Decided so close to bedtime to wait until tomorrow before telling the troops :scared:

Oh no... :sad2: Have you told them yet?

Sorry missed this before.

Well we didn't need to be too concerned. DD6 danced around the house singing Zack's gone to squeaky wheel in the sky (sung to the tune of Spirit in the Sky) :rolleyes1
DS8 didn't notice the cage was missing and went on the wii . :surfweb:
DD10 bless her was the only one with a heart :lovestruc Though it was better that her little chum had not been looking after him. Thinks we should wait a while and not get a similar colour so that we better remember Zack rather than replace him :goodvibes

oh how sweet of her, was he named zack after zac efron as everything our house is named zac or troy or gabriella or sharpay

You can never pre-empt how kids will react can you ?
Thank goodness he went whilst you had him, how awful it must be to look after someone's pet and them turn their toes up :scared1:

I thought the weekend at Haven Devon Cliffs in Devon in a caravan in March earlier this year was dire, but it has just been surpassed by our long weekend (cut short) at Haven Littlesea in Weymouth in our tent.
The 2 days we stuck it out for culminated last night in our top of the range family tent ending up in one of the park bins. After waiting and watching it bend and twist in the gale force winds and driving rain for 36 hours, I took the decision to call it a day about an hour before it gave up the fight and collapsed completely, luckily at this point we'd evacuated and were just waiting for Green Flag to come and start the car, yep, just when you think things can't get any worse - they inevitably do.
I gave our "windbreaks":rotfl: away to a fellow camper, bravely trying to erect his tent, who admitted if it wasn't the first day of their holiday, he wouldn't bother trying. There were people worse than us, the family in front arrived in the morning, battled the wind to get their tent up and by the time we left I'd watched it get ripped out of the ground and somersault across the campsite, while we waited for our Recovery man I watched dad bravely battle the torrential rain and wind to re-erect the tent, while his family looked on helplessly from the car.
Deciding no amount of TLC could repair our tent, more than half the poles had split, it has leaked in several places for the whole 2 days due mostly I think due to the tape on the seams being ripped away as it was twisted and pulled, we decided the bin was probably the best place for it. It wasn't alone there were several other tents in the skip when we got there and I suspect several more by this morning.

Anyway the upshot of this is I have sworn never to be co-erced into a non-Disney holiday ever again. The rest of the family aren't as enthusiastic about DLP as me, which is partly why I agreed to something different and why in addition to our 2 disappointing Haven breaks I've also spent almost £1500 on a week in Butlins in August - it had better be good ! Otherwise in future we will be having seperate holidays.
Despite holidaying at DLP when it's been raining, cold, snowing and horrendously busy, I can hand on heart say we've always had fun.
:cheer2: DLP Rules:cheer2:
