That's a nice pin.

Nikki (BONITATIME) displays her pins in frames ~ if I remember correctly she replaces the standard backing with a cork one.

DH bought a safari hat in Animal Kingdom in WDW and keeps his pins on that (not that he ever wears it :scared1: :rotfl2: ) and my DDs keep on buying new lanyards and filling them up then they end up stuffed in a drawer. I've wondered about buying one of those laptop style bags they sell to keep all the pins in, might do that this summer. Trouble is, they're still not on display that way..........:confused3

Hmm, I had the problem trying to display my pins for a long time until I came up with this:

board.jpg

I just got a pinboard that I no longer used and painted it up. I put some hooks on so that pins that I had that I didn't want to put on the board, such as limited editions and ones with wobbly backs, and my trading lanyard could also be displayed. Eventually I will put this on my wall.

My kids have pin boards in their rooms but the special ones I buy for myself are still lying in my Disney Drawer ( yeas i have a Disney Drawer:rotfl2: )

Thats the sort of thing I'd like, I don't want anything that's too permanent because I might want to wear them.:)

That would be great for the boys pin actually they've got several lanyards and the pins are so tightly packed onto them and then all hung on the same hook that I know they must be getting scratched.

Shame your disney draw isn't like the wardrobe, in the Lion, the Witch & the wardrobe;)

Elaine, I have the laptop style case for my pins, whilst they are not on display as such it protects them & it is easy to show people what ones I have.

I think I'll get one, at the moment they all get stuffed in a drawer and it would be a shame if they got scratched. How many pins roughly does it hold?

nice collection charlotte, I might start collecting too.
Jill i like that 1992 one you have, very nice!

I have no idea how many it holds, I shall count the the pins I have on it since I just got 14 more to add to it!

I've just had a look, it has 6 felt sheets, which can be used back & front so 12 sides can be used. On average about 20-24 pins a side without overcrowding them depending in the size.

There is other sheets inside to which are thinner material which could hold some pins too but I doubt as many as the thicker felt material. If I remember & get time tomorrow, I will take a photo of mine to show you.

 I just opened my post from this morning and seems like Kyras dad owes us ALOT in arrears and they are taking it direct from source in May.

Looks like a Disney trip in June may be coming :rotfl:

Elaine, here is a few pics of my pin trading case. Sorry about the quality of them. No mater how I tried the flash kept going off so there is a reflection.

This is the sheets of the thinner material I mentioned, you could put a few pins on it if you had to.

What a lovely collection of pins, Nikki. I think I'll definitely invest in one of these bags as the pins look really nice displayed in it. Thanks for sharing the pics. :)
