I cant stand mice. I have a horrible, horrible fear of them. Can't stand them. Would rather have a dozen snakes, spiders or frogs then one little mouse. I dont know why, they are just my "thing".
So, I have two indoor/ outdoor cats. Both are excelent hunters- birds and mice. Just one little problem- they don't seem to care that there is a #@(@)(*@!#@ mouse behind my refidgerator! Why, oh why did it have to move into my kitchen? And why do these stupid cats not care?
I thought mice stayed away from houses where cats lived?
I'm on the verge of tears. I need to go clean up the droppings from on top of the fridge, but I dont even want to set foot in the kitchen. Dh ran to the store to get something to take care of it. Not sure what he'll get. There isnt a good solution- decon we have to worry about the cats eating the mouse. A trap would have to go behind the big side by side fridge and would be hard to get back out or reset. Why oh why can't these cats just do their job!?

I called DH and he couldn't believe it, then I locked 2 cats in the kitchen and they didn't care, they dumped the trash instead
another black nasty one went ACROSS the floor!!
) ran into the bedroom, the dogs went crazy, DH jumped out of bed, the kids woke up, and I was on the bed screaming that it was a huge rat in the kitchen!

So I threw it out into a field and then had the mess to clean in front of the washer, yuck! I should have just taken care of it myself the day before, instead of thinking I'd leave it for DH to deal with. That'll teach me!
