I am very pleased to announce the general release of Mouse Manger 1.1.2!

This release supports the new DVC point allocation for 2010! It was quite a challenge for me to be able to support the old allocation for 2009, and the new allocation for 2010 and beyond, which is why this particular update took over 5 months to complete, rather than just a few weeks.

But wait, there's more!

This version also supports the following:
  • The new Tree House Villa room types at SSR
  • Bay Lake Towers
  • The Villas at the Grand Californian

Mouse Manger Version 1.1.2 can be downloaded by going to the Mouse Manager web site.

I want to thank my trusty little band of volunteers who spent many many many many proofreading points files and proofing thousands of rows of points data.

I also want to thank the good folks on this board who helped test Mouse Manager Version 1.1.2.

(Please note: Mouse Manager comes complete with ALL points through 2010. There is NO points file to download. That function is reserved for future points-only table updates)

These are great tools that you make available to us for our use. Thank you for your dedication and generous sharing of your talent and software. :thumbsup2

Thank you for your hard work Ian... :)

You're very welcome.

Prior to this, I had never developed anything! I did this because I was frustrated that there was nothing for the Mac. Fortunately, Mouse Manager runs on both Mac and Windows.

Now I can start thinking about the next big Version, 2.0 and the major redesign of Mouse Manager, and I can start thinking about Mouse Manager and mobile devices.

I can completely understand!
I am a converted Mac guy, and sometime it is very frustrating to find a good Mac program. I collect Comic Books, and there are a couple of great programs for tracking them, but they are PC only!
:scared1:
But, I love this program you made.

Maybe an iPhone version next? I found Tripit for the internet and iPhone, and have duplicated all my info in that so I have it on my iPhone, but if there was an iPhone app that synced with the Mouse Manager data?
:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

Again, though, thank you so much for your work!

I just downloaded the program on my mac, but I can't add my dvc contract info...it keeps telling me hit "new" and I do, but it says it can't be done..any suggestions?

Maybe try restarting you Mac? if that doesn't work, may have to re-install it? Not sure, mine worked fine, so I haven't had any experience with that problem.
Sorry not more help.
:confused3

why cant i find the download link on the website

It's at the top of the website. Click 'Download' (its between 'Screenshots' and 'Dining') and it should take you to a page that lets you choose between mac and PC.

Good Luck and enjoy the program! I love it!:thumbsup2

Did you drag it from the .dmg to your harddrive? You can't run it off the .dmg because the .dmg is write protected.

I am going to have a real developer working with me on version 2.0. He worked with me as an advisor on this version and wrote a plug-in that is integrated and provides some functions in the current version.

I know he's itching to do an iPhone app and he and I have begun our discussions about the revamp of Mouse Manager.

This version was very much a learning experience for me. With the next version I'm going to take what I've learned and redesign it. I have finally raised the funds to buy the latest version of Filemaker which has lots of features I've been dying to get my hands on.

Regarding your comics --- have you looked at Bento? I think it might really help you create something that will help you track your comics. You can download a trial version and play with it. It is a product from Filemaker and is designed for the casual user to build databases to suit their needs. I've looked at it and it's excellent.

Cannot wait to download the new version for our December trip. A blackberry app would be awesome!

Thanks for the hard work you put in. I cannot plan without my mouse manager!!!!:cool1:

Just downloaded it and played around for a while. Nice Job. I will be usinghtis often!

Thanks.

Yes I did...I am going to uninstall it and try again...

This is an awesome program -- my first time using it.

I have contracts in two resorts - AKV and BCV. I have successfully created the contract summaries for each resort. I have a vacation booked in 2010 where I use points from both resorts. However, when entering my resort booking, it does not appear to let me use points from more than one contract summary. Am I missing something or is this how the program works?

Thanks in advance...
