Has anyone been to Mount Rushmore and the area in October?
Looking at visiting over Columbus day weekend, flying into Rapid City on the 7th and out on the 11th.
The 8th would be Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, and Custer State Park.
The 9th would be Wind Cave National Park and Mammoth Site
The 10th would be Badlands National Park
The weather looks like it should be ok, and we would be catching the tail end of the typical season so not nearly as busy as visiting in the summer.
