We are going to Disney world in December. My mother will be traveling with us and due to a recent injury to her leg will need to use a scooter during our stay. Can anyone recommend a good company that will deliver and pick up a scooter from the resorts? Thanks in advance

We like Apple. They are one of the preferred providers for WDW, so can just drop off the ECV where it will be waiting at bell services when you arrive and then you can just drop if off a bell services and leave it your last day. We've used them several times and have never had a problem.

There is nothing wrong with some of the nonpreferred providers though. In fact we have used Walker multiple times (back before WDW started with the preferred providers and allowed all the ECV companies to drop off and leave their ECVs). We would also have no problem recommending Walkers at all and always received good service and good reliable ECVs. It's just that the preferred providers can just drop off their ECVs and the guests can just leave them at bell services without having to arrange a pick up and drop off time. With the nonpreferred providers you have to meet the driver for pick up and drop off.

I have used Apple 2x and will be using them again this November! :thumbsup2

We are looking at Apple for our post cruise rental in Sept. I also need one for the 4 night Dream cruise and was looking at Brevard Medical recommended by DCL, but on the Apple website it says they started cruise rentals in July 2013. I tried calling but the line is busy.
Anyone use them for the cruise.
Does Apple charge your cc when you book or when you pick up the rental.?

As of last Nov Apple's policy was to charge the CC at time of delivery.

We've used Apple 3x with great results.

I used Walker Mobility for a wheelchair in April (they also rent ECVs) and again, great experience!

Definitely do Apple. Prices are good and we had an issue with my mom's scooter two days in. It wasn't working well and the charger connector broke. She called first thing in the morning and they drove to our resort and replaced the ECV for her. We were a little late for the plans we had that day but the service and response time was excellent.
