We are going in December next year. One of or group needs to use a motorised wheelchair. Is it possible to ge one onto the pssenger trains that operate from the car parks and does any one know if it would fit into the back of a 12 seater van
No. It is not possible to get a power chair or ECV onto the parking lot trams. Not only are they about 18 inches off the grouns, but the space between rows is very narrow.
If you are using a car, have the person with the power chair bring their Blue Badge along. The car with that person will be able to park in the medical parking lots, which are very close in to the parks.
For example, the past few days I had some relatives visiting me with two small children. I could not get all of them in may car, and they could not fit my ECV in theirs. So we went with the two cars and decided on a spot outside the turnstiles to meet each day, since we went separate ways in the parking lot; me to medical parking and them to regular parking and use fothe tram.
