Does anyone ever take any of the OTC meds for this for the simulator rides? Any one ever try any of the herbal remedies available? I don't want to be wiped out just so I can ride Mission Space. Any ideas?

I have to take them for long rides in the car and airplane rides. Even with motion sickness meds, I cannot do the similators.

I get a "patch" prescribed from my Doctor- it works GREAT!! ask your Dr.- I get sick on everything even airplanes- but don't when I use this Rx patch.

I have these motion-sickness-preventing wristbands from a local travel store. They're great; they hit a pressure point on your wrists that keep you from getting sick! I love 'em. Just slip them on before I ride and I'm ready!

ME TOO! They are called "SEA BANDS" from CVS/WALGREENS for about $9.00! They work awesome. Read the directions to find your pressure point and you are good to go. :Pinkbounc

One of my friends uses "sailors Secret" it's a pill. He swears by it. He tends to get seasick even if the boats are still in dock but says he is fine with these.

I too use sea bands. I am very travel sick yet love rollercoasters and amusement parks. When I go to any park I wear my bands all day and I feel fine. Mission Space did leave me feeling a little wiped out for 10 minutes or so, but not a sick feeling. I would ride it again.

Will have to try one of these band's as some of the more intense rides leave me feeling a bit off colour for a while, having said that most of the time I am on the kiddie rides these days.
Problem is 'Cat In The Hat' makes me feel quite ill with all that spinning, Joshua loves it.
